Whatever the case may be with this kid, it's not like there's someone there to take that spot if he goes elsewhere.

LSU is LSU. They'll get players. Plain and simple.

People freaking out over shite like this need to check their priorities

This happens every year. Kid commits very early. Other schools stop giving him attention. His friends start getting a ton of attention. Committed player now wants that attention too. Thus, he de-commits.

It didn't take long for some gumps on this site to being lashing out at LC's mother after that article that was posted this past Friday.

The gumps have been bashing his mother since he committed. Nevermind the fact thats he is the child and she is the parent and he deceived mom to get her there.

Maybe so, but I do not recall seeing the kind of negative publicity at even the national level. I am only talking about Bobby Hebert, LC and mom, etc. It has just been crazy. Some folks are never happy.

Doubt he fell out of love with LSU based on just one conversation with Collins.

Exactly! Brazil committed to LSU way over a year before NSD 2013, he has Tiger in his blood

That's because you pay attention to this fan base more than others. Think about poisoning trees, throwing bricks at windows, Fireronzook.com

You'd think JB took a piss on LSU reading this thread.

Dude hasn't even said anything about marking LSU off but all of a sudden we already lost a recruit? Guy committed to LSU as soon as he was offered...should say a lot about him. He is getting more attention now. Maybe he just wants to make sure LSU is the right place and did the right thing by telling LSU his commitment is currently over. Would you rather him Kiel us...

I feel like we have to win the NC this year to gain some respect back from the recruits

I was always behind Les Miles for the most part. Just like most people, I would be down when Les would do something unexpected but would soon forget about it but with the way LSU played on the 9th, I could see why everyone is giving a second thought to coming here. Les just didn't seem to try anything different to give us a chance to win the game. Somethings got to give. Until next year starts and proves me wrong will I forget about the NCG.

7 mos can't go by fast enough. We need to kick some arse on the field to get this out of my system.

I just read his twitter and it seems to me he just wanted to feel wanted by the LSU staff so he decommitted.

I am not a negative person and by no means do I think LSU is in trouble but momentum has a bunch to do with recruiting. That is why when you see a school pick up a real good recruit alot of times they get a few more. We have absolutely no momentum right now. That NC game made us look terrible and LM doesn't do damage control well. I think it will all work out but its going to be a long summer. We need to get back on the field and go on a winning streak. I will be shocked if we get any Jr. recruits from LSU camps this year. If you think that NC game didn't have anything to do with what is going on then your crazy.

Kid sounds like he just wants to enjoy the process. Looking at the other schools he has listed, I see no problem in us keeping him in-state

Since 2009 there has been a steady decline in recruiting. 2010 we had 2 major OOS recruits. We also had about 3 major OOS decommitts. 2011 we had a great class because we locked down Louisiana. Our OOS recruiting was nonexistent. 2012 we got most of the players in Louisiana but let 2 huge guys go that we wanted for the first time ever. 2013 we lost our only commit so far, every big player in the state has Bama number 1 or 2, and the top two players, Diarse and Jefferson look to be Bama leans.

Wow. This post really proves your point.

How do you know this? Many on here would like to know how you come to this conclusion. Would not surprise me with all the bad news already. Have to think things will turn around.

I am already thinking into the future that Les will have trouble with Bama and Saban because of the recent turn of events. The recent loss of Gunner and Collins, the loss of the BCSNCG, and the verbals of Bamas 2013 class already make me think that it is inevidable that we are in a tailspin right now. Just a matter of time before ...... BOOM!!!!!
