I find it pretty repulsive on the 247 board that there are posters trying to blame the coaching staff for letting this kid get out of state.

Apparently, the coaching staff is in charge and to blame for a kid for having a dream and living it.

Studrawa is to blame for Global Warming and war in the Middle East.

IMO 2 schools you can't fault a kid for choosing due to education, exposure an athletics

ND
Stanford

Ill be honest. If my kid was smart enough to be offered a full ride to Stanford, I probably would do what I can to get him/her to go there before anywhere else.

Yeah I would put the full court press on my daughter to choose Stanford over LSU. If it were ND I would take a bit more of an encouragement role. Any others aside from some Ivy League I'd push LSU. Assuming a football ride though I'd be cool with Stanford or ND, preferably Stanford though. JMO

this is a funny thread

Tillery is one bright kid esp for someone entering their Jr year of HS, very articulate and eloquent speaker

No kidding! He described his visit this weekend as "transcendentally sublime." Everything he has said so far has been exceedingly impressive.

Tillery is not that good anyway. i saw him get dominated on 5 different occasions

He was also only a sophomore probably going up against seniors. Not done growing/physically maturing yet.

i mean projecting sophomore OL is a crap shoot anyways. Tillery is 6'7" 330 lb, coordinated, and intelligent -- those variables can not be taught and are the main reasons for his lofty rating.

You think this is funny, you should see the one on Geaux247

Exactly. If he has a big frame and is athletic, it really doesn't matter if he gets dominated occasionally when he's a sophomore when he's still not close to filling out his body and may have technique issues that can be fixed pretty easily.
