Oregon HAD him if THEY wanted. There is a reason they don't now. This kid has loved Oregon for sometime. I am curious as to why they let him go.

This

something just aint right with his recruitment. not sure of whats going on if its all elgibility issues or ifs chracter stuff. Eitehr way this thing ahs soured and it stinks.

I am going to be cautious of a great players committing this late. Alomst too good to be true.

He had eligibility issues but retested and was supposedly all good to go. Now all of a sudden they give him the cold shoulder

Supposedly they never sent Randall a LOI and that was the last straw besides not talking to him for more than a week

There was never confirmation that he actually did qualify for Oregon - and even if he got his scores up to the point that he could qualify, there's a chance the staff decided it would be very hard to keep him above water.

Second part of your statement is what I heard. This all happened a bit ago so I don't remember if it was confirmation or just speculation. He isn't going to a CC so it seems like he upped his grades.

Tattoo removal can fix that...

I don't mind us picking up another mobile QB. If our other QB's pan out we've got a WR. If they don't we've got another option at QB.

He has/had grade issues. UF recruited him as a WR, but never offered. Randall is electric with the ball in his hands. I would be surprised if he qualified for LSU.

He has other issues as well. Like 4 schools in 4 years.

I'm going to trust Leslie's judgment on grades and disciplinary issues as I simply can't know these things for myself.

He was a Gator lock if you guys would have offered.Driskel kept him from getting the offer.Randall made it very clear that he wanted to play QB.If he would've been more open to wr or DB then Urban would've offered. The kids a talent.I could care less about the grade issues. If he qualifies then take him.if he flunks out then we will just use the schollie when he's gone. All the times we passed on LA kids because of academic risks should allow us to catch a break and get a little lucky for once with a good prospect.

his backup last year is supposd to be a young gunner:
quote:

Playing backup to Jerrard Randall last year, White saw limited varsity duty. However, he was 21 of 27 for 225 yards, 1 TD and an interception and a win against Somerset Academy

I'm not doubting you at all but it confuses me when I read that and see Brissett on their class list.

He wanted nothing to do with wr or db so he wasn't going to be offered. The only reason Florida got back involved is because Oregon did offer a chance to play qb.

He wrote just LSU on his Facebook, which basically leaves it up to interpretation

What we do know is he is potentially visiting this weekend. If he does visit, he's pretty much going to LSU. If he doesn't, something about his academics threw up a red flag
