re: Jeff Lee on La'El Collins now

Here on TD, and on TF, I have seen homers, hopefuls, the disillusioned, the wishful thinkers, the ridiculous expectations, and others.

However, right now on Auburn Eagle, there are about 10 guys who are stating unequivocally that they have secret insider knowledge that LC WILL be signing with Auburn. All of them are saying that they know about something that happened, or that a source told them something important and that they have no doubt that he is coming to Auburn. They all state that he didn't want hassles from Louisiana residents, so he is just going to secretly Fax his LOI to Auburn in the morning.


Now, I don't believe this to be true. I think they are full of shite. I even had to wonder if some of those guys were just making stuff up to sound important. They are dead set and solidly convinced, tho, so if they're lying, its to themselves, as well.

So, if it turns out not to be true, I must say that it will absolutely establish Barners, in my mind, as being the most delusional, dumbass fanbase without even the slightest grasp on anything that resembles reality.
