Watch football and learn. Concepts , schemes, formations and routes. Add that to your personal you have and you figure out what gives your team the better advantage to score more points than your opponents.Football is not difficult

I'd welcome Jayden Daniels with open arms! He looks plenty good to me.

They absolutely want Walker Howard to Red shirt, Especially coming off an injury. This is actually a pretty good option this guy could play way different and has the potential with the talent we will have around him

He's not taking Brennan's job unless he's hurt. Something may be wrong with Brennan we don't know but we do know he's made of glass so at the very least you do need depth.
One thing he better do is hit the weights if he comes here because he'll get snapped in half like that guy on Not Another Teen Movie. Maybe LSU is looking at him for another position?

Right because that heisman trophy winner from bama is way bigger than daniels

There's no way of knowing this. Brennan has started 3 games his entire career and has thrown a grand total of 201 passes. Daniels has started 29 games and thrown 700+ passes.
That's not to say one is definitively better than the other but it's going to be a new offensive system. You've got two older mature players, one with significantly more playing experience. I don't think it's a foregone conclusion Brennan starts. Let them battle it out

Dude, Brennan is a 6th year senior with 3 starts under his belt, a statue in the pocket, and can't stay healthy.
What makes you think its Brennan's job? If Brennan is as good as some of you think he is, then he will win the QB competition.

quote:makes great sense to me. Probably has been told that he'll start (whether that's true or not, we might see), and Denbock likes mobile QBs. Like somebody already said on here, the kid is pretty much Desmond Ridder, and that's probably what he preached to him. LSU is downright filthy at the WR spot too. With Daniels we are able to use all of Denbrock's playbook. Kelly has almost always had a mobile QB at Notre Dame so that also matches up.
This is a head scratcher, by both parties. I would imagine that he would want to go to a program where he would basically be handed a starting job.

I’m a big fan of what a mobile QBs do to defenses when used right.

Yes. He loves light-skinned black guys.

Exactly
Daniels isn’t coming here to hold a clipboard. He’s got 5x the experience Brennan has.

Dude has regressed every single year since his freshman year. I don’t get this decision at all and I don’t agree with it. With our WR corps, Brennan will thrive if he lets it go in the first three seconds. If it’s to have a serviceable backup, cool. As a starter?! Dude couldn’t cut it in the freaking PAC 12!!

Dude had just as many interceptions as he had td’s through the air last year

Or it could mean the coaches see Brennan sucks??? Its going to be funny to see all the Brennan dick suckers melt when Daniels wins the starting job.
Why? Judging by the way this kid has been playing lately that would mean we will suck at the QB position again this year.

Great. So we will have a glorified running back that can occasionally throw the ball somewhat

This is clearly a move to add depth and experience. Kelly and Denbrock have already said the offense will fit whatever QB wins the job. I will add that they both would like a QB with some mobility but this isn’t a death sentence for Brennan. He could very well be the starter at the beginning of the season.
