He didn't light it up versus Walker BUT he did get to the line and made his FT's.

#2 on Scotlandville can shoot very well too.

He's the tallest kid on the floor for S'ville, as well (Smart)

Can't wait to see him with talent around him.

they're gonna choke... The Northshore in general breeds softness

Still think Mitch was better last year

Will Wade isn't going to deal with all of his bull shite that he does after he makes a shot EVERY time he scores. It is ridiculous.

Reece Beekman,#2,is a sophomore that's been getting the attention of a lot of colleges.

Reece is not taller than Ja'Vonte though, one is 6'1 and the other is 6'4

You have no clue what you're talking about. Will Wade has seen him play in person a bunch and loves the kids energy.

Every good shooter had a 3 point celebration. A couple years ago it was a 3 finger glove symbol. This year it's a 3 finger arm circle.

It's not like he's taking his shirt off and running around the gym like he just scored a soccer goal

No shite! I know he has seen him play. His energy? He takes nights off all the time. Scoring 60 vs the likes of Live Oak is great. What I am saying is that when he gets to college and pulls that shite, WW isn't going to stand for it. And not every kid celebrates making a 3 every time he makes one. You have no freaking clue what you are talking about

I've watched him play every game the last 4 years and he hasn't taken a night off yet.

His energy?

Yeah it's pretty amazing because it elevates the play of everyone around him

Scoring 60 in practice is hard enough on its own

Will Wade told you this at yalls weekly brunch meeting?

Not every kid makes 3's at the rate he does. It takes a great scorer to amass over 3,000 points in high school

I'd beg to differ and so would many others with that

Not saying he isn't a great player. But his antics won't fly in college. And I saw him play recently and he took the night off. Get off his cock and actually watch it correctly.

Did you watch him vs. Country Day yesterday?

If you say so

Can you read? I just said I have seen every game he's played the last 4 years. He was the leading scorer for Scotlandville yesterday, but don't let facts get in the way of your narrative

Man I've forgotten more about basketball than you will ever know.

Ok, so you saw the little 5'7 guard from country day who isn't going to play anywhere get under his skin? And you think he plays hard all the time? That's right, you know more basketball than anyone

Look man I'm sorry your sons team lost and your precious little 5'7 guard got his ankles broke and abused.

FWIW his flopping skills are not very good and he should definitley quit slapping at defenders when he's being closely guarded

That was pretty good. Hope your analysis on him is right and he leads the Tigers next year. But for you to swear by this kid because you have seen him play every game at scotlandville since he has been there and you not to agree that he doesn't play hard all the time is crazy.

Didn't see ANY of this vs. Walker. Kid handled himself very well, IMO.

20-25 points is a "bad" night for him and that isn't happening but pretty rarely theses days. I'd hardly call that taking a night off "all the time".

Not sure what you have against Smart/Scotlandville but it's clearly something.

What’s this kids biggest area that needs improvement? He looks like a very solid overall player on film and kinda reminds me of joe Johnson but wanted to hear someone’s take that watches him locally
