Mississippi State is recruiting this kid and wants him to come to camp to earn an offer. I looked him up and watched his HUDL tape and was blown away 90 catches 1,600 yds 18 TDS. Then I was even more blown away that his only offers are from Houston and Tulsa.

For those of yall in the Shreveport/North Louisiana area, have you seen this kid play and if so whats your take on him. I know LSU is all but set at WRs with guys like Dupree, Noil, Quinn and the JUCO WR at Gulf Coast

6'2" 190 looks good on film, what is this kids flaws? I hope my bulldogs can get another Louisiana kid from the Shreveport area (Dak Prescott being the other)

Just gonna go ahead and tell you right now that 1500 yd receivers are ALWAYS at Evangel. I've seen him play. Nothing special. Will be a decent starter as a junior/senior but not a difference maker.

Also stay the hell out of our state!

Why haven't Tech or ULM offered? They are right by the kid. He looks VERY LEGIT in his video. Not sure what kind of competition Evangel plays but this kid seems to catch everything up in the air near him.

Of all the great Evangel receivers stat wise no one has done anything except Richard Smith unless I'm forgetting someone. Abram Booty was ok, but nowhere near the hype. They are labeled system stats.

So his only highlight vs Curtis was a nonscoring kick return?

Phillip Geiger and Thomas Bachman were the real deal in 1999. Geiger played at UT and was pretty good as a DB.
Not sure if Bachman went anywhere but he was an awesome high school receiver.

Geiger played safety. Bachman went to Texas Tech and now coaches Bastrop.

I haven't really heard anything about this kid before. But there is another kid up in North LA that will probably get some looks, might already have an offer from Tech. I can't remember his name, but he plays at the private school in Minden. Competition isn't strong, but he looks like he could be a player for someone. 6'2" or 6'3", not sure how fast though.

Looks like he catches the ball high and has a pretty good build. Not track speed, but looks like he can get past a CB with quick release from the LOS. Overall, I think he would be a good receiver at Miss St. Not All-SEC, but a very good pickup for yall.

Abram Booty was pretty legit before his injury.

Just have to definitely be careful about Evangel system players. Their QBs always throw for 3500+ yards. They always have receivers with over 1000 yards.

Trent Taylor had even more yards receiving than Cornelius last season and the same 18 TD. His only offer was from Louisiana Tech.

Right down to the colors he looks just like Quinton Patton on film. If yall have any decent QB on the roster he gets drafted high.

Named Arkansas his leader at the most recent Hoover 7 vs 7...

I'll take 5 kids out of LA every year, regardless of their ranking.
