Corey Raymond wanted Gilbert out of HS. O wanted the safety from Pennsylvania that they converted to RB and eventually transferred.
Gilbert started the past two years with the Aggies before injury

That was quick- Sage hits the portal, Gilbert immediately commits! Will take that trade any day of the week! And I don't mean that as a stab at Sage, but coming in as a 5 star was always going to be an issue the way fans viewed him. Gilbert has a much higher ceiling...

I do recall CR wanted Burns but then Busch/Orgeron processed him.
