This is just a traitor/sell-out move. Something is very fishy about the whole deal. Why would a kid go to a program a thousand miles away that has zero chance of ever winning a championship, SEC or otherwise, and that has half the national exposure of LSU?? Then again, why would we want to put up with another of these "daddys"?

One reason would be Monte Kiffen, good defensive coach.
Now Lane, is pretty pathetic. He has proven he can pull in some recruits, let's see how he coaches in the SEC. I think I'm now pulling for Bama to beat TN, which really shocks me

We are pretty deep at corner it is time for Phelon Jones, Ron Brooks, Brandon Taylor and Fernando Bryant to step up and grab some playing time. If 1 or 2 players spell success for a program then you don't have much of a program.

he was a nomad anyway, so traveling didn't bother him
he was at Carencro, then Lake Charles ... just like McKnight was in NOLA, Shreveport and back to NOLA
both he and McKnight had no real base of family still in La.
makes sense that with that lifestyle they can be compelled to get away from their home state school
