Grimsley and Robinson are from Tampa and Orlando respectively and have never even visited here. It never made sense for either to seriously consider us despite the recent coaches we've hired.

Seriously? Seriously? I'm not a Corey Raymond fan by any stretch but I actually spent time watching his HUDL highlights. He is rated a low 4* by the services and I agree. He is worth a scholarship and would expect a "return on investment" but is he some game-breaking talent? 
He looks like a better WRer than CB anyway which is why he is listed as either a WRer or ATH. BTW, the few CB hits that I did see him deliver were "blindside" tackles, not illegal of course but makes the defensive player look better than he really might be.
Lose sleep over this if you wish...I couldn't care less. Funny that LSU has several players in the secondary and at receiver already that are better than this kid, yet some people keep whining about not have any quality secondary players. You gotta love it!

And that is why I'm so incredibly thankful you are not on the LSU staff. I keep reading the word "bodies". You understand right that "bodies" don't buy you squat. "Bodies" aren't even good for depth. If you want to use the word "bodies" please use the appropriate phrase "contributing bodies". What is hilarious to use your own term is that you and some others here think that numbers are important. Numbers is trivial. What is important would be talented numbers. I don't know anything about this kid but for people every time to think that LSU will not be able to field a good team because such and such signs with someone else is just ludicrous and shows a basic lack of understanding of recruiting and coming up with the best 85 man roster possible.

I almost wish we weren't and that is why we are getting NONE of them. That is more palatable than not being able to sign ANY of the 4-5* portal studs.

Well I’d say it’s probably really hard to lure a person that’s from Florida or any home state to come to LSU when he’s never been there and won’t do visits. Sounds like he’s just going to take the safe route and stay home regardless of the dumpster fire UF program.

This is what I think CC. I think BK is waiting on Bussey. If he signs, I don't think we get another portal cb. I think BK wants to roll with the younger fellas and have them develop. We have a couple who got a head start last season.
