Ex-Arkansas stud who would have been nice to land last year, is back in the portal.
Downsides are he's injury plagued and only 1 year of eligibility, but he's a proven top-end SEC level Safety when healthy.
I don't see the downside of adding him, especially losing veteran Brooks and possibly Burns. He's a better player than Burns anyway and could be a veteran leader on the backend imo while you develop the young pups

That would be my question.
I'd probably look elsewhere.

Injury and Derek Williams is a stud that they've invested a lot of money in

Missed almost all of 2022 due to injury, missed half of 2023 due to injury. Was an average player this season at Texas as well.
HARD pass, we dont need to be taking average 6th year players especially who have missed the majority of their games the last 2 seasons due to injury.

Gilbert was injured once, Catalon has been injured in each of the last 3 years he has played and in each case a season ending injury. Big difference.
