Max will most likely not be our starting QB next year. We desperately needed depth in the QB room. If King didn’t finally heal up, we’d be starting a walk on for the bowl.
Really have no idea why he’d come here tho when he’ll have to compete with the guy we thought would start this season and the #1 QB in this class. Doesn’t make much sense.

So the thought was he was leaving here because it was going to be an open qb competition, is it not going to be there? He’s not beating out King for starting spot.

I assume he just wants to go learn from the QB guru,Fisher. He probably hasn't had the best coaching here the last 2 years.
