This speaks to how good of a coach Robert Steeples is - very impressive IMO

It’s always cyclical in their conference and it always depends on who is doing more to bring in players. Because none of the schools are in an area to naturally draw them and they’re too expensive even if the geography was better.
When Steeples was there, he had the advantage of already being connected to every prospect due to his dad. Before him DeSmet was fine, after him, they’re fine. They’ve never been struggling, they’ve just not always emphasized football.

He gave up like 2-3 TDs against Penn State in one game. Seems like more of a depth piece. He was the best player in state of Missouri coming out of HS. Started 5 games at Ohio State this year. He’s got upside but needs to be developed. Imo we could do better.
