We have enough guards.

Mulkey said she wanted to add a guard when Jada and Bella were supposed to be coming back. At this point we've just replaced them.

Just watched her highlight video.
Most of the assists in her highlights were just lobs to Krooks.
She is a step slower than Richard.
Hope it works out.
I don’t know if it’s an upgrade but it’s definitely a solid replacement.

McGill from Florida is the better player we need.

One of the best bigs in the country on offense. Also one of the worst on defense and it lowered the ceiling on their already not super talented team.

Yup and the team quite much like the TN team. No coincidence both programs had a max exodus

Any chance Audi Crooks follows her or is she heading somewhere like Texas or UCLA?

Supposed to be Notre Dame buzz. Can't imagine Mulkey and Starkey would like watching Audi play defense and rebound.

Ole gal would have a heart attack trying to keep up with a Fulwiley, MK, etc.

She would fit at Texas.

I can see why she is a career 38fg / 28 3pt. Loves to take long jumpers. I feel like Mulkey just recruits whoever has the highest ppg in the portal

Yeah get it in to Crooks, and it’s an automatic assist. She does pass the ball around well, though. And seems to hit key 3 pointers. The thing about McGill, who’s not really any better from 3, is she’s lightning taking it to the rack. The speed with her and Lay would be dizzying.

McGill does like almost lead the nation in turnovers, though. In multiple games against good teams she had like 9-10 turnovers. Don’t think that disappears overnight. Jada Williams has a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio which is pretty good.

Williams is more experienced and accomplished in two different conferences already, making first team all conference in both the PAC 10 and Big 12 every year, starting and playing almost the whole game every game. Richard has SEC experience but also had Lay and MK and Big 4 along to help her grow up. Imagine Jada Williams with this cast.

Although I still believe Richard is very, very good and I wish we still had her, from what I’ve seen I’d give Williams the slight edge on experience and production on the big stage.

Is McMiller still in play? Saw where it’s Carnegie to Iowa and Crump to Duke.

LSU has not had a true point guard since Morris left. 7.7 assists per game speak volumes to me. She will make the other players better.

HERE is the big signing we needed. As far as the starting lineup, we immediately upgraded PG in a big way. Depth is still a concern with Richard gone, but that can be handled. If it was a one-on-one competition though, JWilliams would have put Richard on the bench. No doubt Richard heard what was up and that’s why she decided to bail.

Jacques Doucet said LSU wasn’t looking at Williams until Jada left.

So LSU was looking at McGill, and Jada got spooked so that's why she left?

Redus has a good start at Rutgers. Got the Pauldo twins plus Jaylah Lampley.

Never seen her play , her assist to turnover ratio is very good which is what you want from your pg but looks like she needs to work on her shot , 40 percent and 30 from 3

I am hesitant to celebrate her assists because she was playing with that large center. That likely inflated the #s. But... I love the addition and think we have upgraded the position.
