Out of curiosity, how would your family feel about a PWO spot?
Dunno. The UL scholly offer is pretty sweet, and he likes the school and coaches. It would be hard to turn that down for a PWO spot.

Really happy with this commitment. I think he will accomplish big things at LSU. I think he will be a leader on and off the field and a true tiger.

Texas & Notre Dame are huge players nationally.

What world are you living in

ND isn’t lighting it up in WR recruiting, more Lawrence Keys types that the sec didn’t want

Herman hasn’t exactly recruited stud WRs at Texas. Ohio St and Oklahoma have done a better job recruiting his own state than him. Didn’t he sign some no-name WR from Nola last cycle?

Sucks to miss on the #1 WR in the state but I guess a good thing you get with Bech is he’s probably a special teams guy you’ll get a lot of use out of, even if he’s limited as a receiver. I could see him becoming a Racey/Jarvis type gunner. Probably will block well for the Run game like those guys too.

You must of never seen Bech play IRL. He led the state in receiving and TD’s last year and prob will again.

He’s a ultra competitive. He can jump out the gym literally, I’ve seen his hand take a ball off the square of the back board & he’ll run 4.5 in the 40.

He’s 6’3 215 today, body type identical to a Eric Decker type player. This guy is going to see the field early at LSU.

Yeah we’ve been through this. I’m not knocking the player. I’m knocking the process.

I do think he’s a very interesting prospect. My point as it relates to ND and Texas late offers is that they’re not getting elite kids at that position. I’d be more impressed if Clemson, Oklahoma, Ohio St, Bama were knocking down the doors.

Clemson and Chad Morris (Auburn) went after Trey Quinn at least. But not Bech

I do think no camp circuit this summer probably hurt the kid (helped kids like Justin Jefferson).

Bech’s career will inevitably be compared to Brian Thomas’ going forward, whether people think that’s fair or not.

Bech is probably at or near his ceiling already
He will contribute
Because he does the little things
Runs routes better than most
He’s tough physical
In traffic catching ball

In 2020, great WRs come from everywhere .

They grow on trees.

If Brian Thomas chooses another team, it’s not a huge loss. Guys like Destyn Hill & Keon Coleman have just as much upside

Meh, circumstantial. You can try to justify it but we all know ND doesn’t recruit at an elite level at skill positions.

I’m sure Ole Miss has about the same amount of WRs in the league but we all know the schools that currently recruit the best at WR.

I like this kid. Seems like a leadership personality, which is something we need more than ever. I’ll take heart over stars and entitlement. Give me someone who wants to be here

Look this guy has all the intangibles you look for in a wr.

Good height
Great hands
Speed
Great route running
Great vertical
Can block when needed

He checks all of the boxes

Wow, I'd love to see that. So like an 80 foot vertical with enough power to break through the ceiling?
