You just don't see kids under 5'8 make it to major college football often at all. AND THAT IS ALL IM SAYING!!!!!

You are right but the exceptions are really good. For instance Jeremy Gallon is listed at 5'8 has 80 rec 1284 yards, 9 TDs this year. Last year when they made the switch to Gardner at QB, he racked up 511 yards and 3 TDs in the last five games.

He can definitely play RB if he is indeed 5'8-5'9. There have been a ton of these short APB, ATH, and RBs ranked highly. Why are we assuming he plays WR? Trindon rarely played WR himself and he was a bottle rocket.

So, the argument is he is not D1 talent because Newman lost to OC in a playoff game? Damn, guess Duece Wallace and all the talent at Riverside aren't D1 prospects either since they lost to STA in the first round too.

I was at the game, and Jay had a decent game. Only problem is they started almost every drive inside their own 20, and OC probably had the ball 34 minutes to Newmans 14. OC was in I formation and simply drove the ball on the short field they had due to Newman punting issues. Not to mention Newman had a safety on a snap and a missed extra point....3 given to OC and Newman lost by 2.

I'll make a prediction - this film gets out and he starts getting looks...you ready for this...at QB.

For what it's worth I don't think Duece is an SEC level QB and to be fair wasn't that the first or 2nd week duece was back?

OC was not very good - period.......

simply liking the kid and putting up ridiculous numbers against largely inferior competition does not make one a D1 or and SEC level player. most certainly at QB.

also when I look at players playing at the smaller classifications - holdbacks have an even greater impact playing at that level......
