Hell yeah. Hopefully him Ricks and Toviano can close out our secondary

What's the story on this guy? Doesn't look like he's properly evaluated even though he has a good rating. a SS prospect?

He’s Kylin Jackson w/ better coverage skills- kid is a terrific football player!!
(Not meant as a slight on Kylin, b/c he is a beast as well)

We need his services. Hopefully we get his signature.

With Ricks and Toviano locking down the boundaries this gives Matt House a lot more options on defense especially using the safeties.

Some people think he could make a good linebacker as well

He was at the Alabama game …that game was magical lol

Toviano will be a safety not a CB.

Toviano will be a safety not a CB

Toviano will be a safety

He’s a freak played both sides of the ball last year

He’s Kylin Jackson with better coverage skills

Kylin is a physical player and does lack some coverage skills. If the scheme is for a thumper and limited coverage I put kylin in the box.
He does well there against the run heavy teams they’ve played over his HS career. He can get caught looking in the backfield on coverage

I read a story on him earlier and kind of how House could utilize him. He sounds like a perfect fit for what House is looking for. All these DBs have their strength and weaknesses and without a doubt LSU has a plan on how to use these players or they wouldn't offer them.

Kylin Jackson is definitely more of a strong safety (box), but he’s so strong and athletically gifted that Matt house can slide him into an ILB’s spot to allow for more exotic blitzes and simulated pressure.
Here’s the exciting part to me: Isaac Smith is 100% built like a strong safety (very comparable to Kylin) and he plays a physical brand of ball. However, the kid is no slouch in coverage. As such, I see him being able to play free & strong safety in college. IMO, Smith would be the crown jewel of the safeties if we can sign him. I’m being dead-arse serious when I say I think he’s every bit as good as Derek Williams. He’s just so versatile - a sure tackler, Athletic enough to Cover a lot of ground quickly, good lateral mobility, can be a ball hawk, will take the head off a WR coming across the middle, willing participant in run support, and has the size of a small ILB.
Ashton Stamps is more of your pure free safety (FS), however, he has cover skills adequate for playing as a CB also.
Michael Daugherty will start out playing the nickel (N), and he will be able to grow into being a strong safety later in his collegiate career. He’s not spectacular in coverage but this kid is ferocious & fearless playing around the LOS.
