It was confusing yesterday but I don’t believe he did. His twitter doesn’t say anything about being signed. 247 just says hard commit.
Not sure what’s up there but I guess we gotta take our shot.

Don't you think Pittman is working him hard at Arkansas now? Players many times are committing to a coach just as much if not more than the actual school. Pittman is a very solid recruiter with a reputation for building bigtime OLines. I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at Arkansas.

Take Van Pran and Clayton, both of them and Clayton even if Evans signed papers.
If Evans did not sign papers with LSU then let's not go dry at RB and get the sure thing. Signing Clayton will not effect the Evans decison.

I'd rather take another lineman or save the slot for next season than take Clayton.

Well when his position coach leaves a few weeks before signing day, and he decides to wait ... that makes it a bit less of a surprise.
Vol said the staff has been talking with him, but we'll see. All I know is Pittman leaving has given us a shot.
Could be Emery the sequel, would be huge.

Cool tell the staff to get a running back Gibbs is looking damn good on film. Don't know all the guys they after but that guy is solid and should be a priority for Lsu instead of putting all their eggs into one basket like have done before in past a couple years ago and lost out on both

If Evans doesn't sign I'd love to take Clayton. One of the shiftiest, one-cut backs in the country. Excellent balanced runner. Could definitely be a contributer in 2-3 years.

Look, I don’t really give a sh*t about Vol. But how can anybody on this board expect an insider to know more than the coaches know. Knowing at least what the coaches are thinking is the best kind of insider you’re going to get on this board outside of the parents of the players (and even they are wrong sometimes). Hell, sometimes the kids don’t know until minutes before. Giving this dude a hard time because he got something wrong is silly. You can’t expect an insider to be omniscient.
