Step away from the recruiting board, and nobody else gets hurt

scike also said we needed to move Josh Reed to strong safety so yeah there is that too
scike's hs must have had some beef with the Rayne Grain folk

LSU had strong interest in Jordan Batiste, Darion Monroe, Kedrick Banks, and Lorenzo Doss. Those four were definitely recruited by LSU. Frank Wilson was on Banks hard.

for a guy named MrLSU, he sure is dumb.

Banks was a very good ATH, but on the short side to play WR, CB, etc... I believe LSU offered as a walk-on... Doss had better soph/jr seasons, but had a mediocre sr yr that hampered any chance at LSU, so both choose Tulane...

Only 1 commitment from New Orleans and that kid is from Slidell. LSU's success has been built on its ability to lock down the New Orleans metro area and right now what I am seeing is that not only have we not locked down New Orleans but we are close to striking out on our homegrown talent. Tulane is really making in-roads right now and we need to be aware of what is going on in our backyard. The last time we wiffed this bad was when Gerry Dinardo went looking for every kid under the Sun in Texas and LSU went belly up.
Dinardo recruited New Orleans hard and opened some doors there. You are describing Mike Archer.

Actually you are correct. I stand corrected it was Mike Archer who recruited elsewhere.

I'm guessing you've discovered the flaws in your original post by now. Feel free to edit

You can't really be serious...... Can you?

Yup. Don't forget that's where the Holmes hire came out.

Did serve one useful purpose for me. I hadn't checked Toolame's verbals in a long time. Almost every single of them has 1 offer...the Green Ripple.
On the over/under on whether Toolame will even be recruiting in 3 years/i.e. having an existing football team, I'm taking the UNDER!

Well, it wouldn't be the first time you would be wrong now would it?
Curtis Johnson will turn that program around. He will not get the prospects LSU wants but he will get some that Miss st/Ole Miss/aTm want which again is good for LSU.
