Wasn't there a basketball player who grew 8 inches after high school and went from a guard recruit to playing center? If I recall, neither of his parents were close to 6 feet tall.

Likewise, what are the chances that Scott gets shorter?

Rivers was 6'8" and it did not help. In this case I do not think that size matters!

Baker Mayfield was 5'10-5'11 when he graduated HS and was passed by all the Texas Schools. He walked on at tech. Now he is 6-6'1.

David Robinson got into the Naval Academy because he didn't exceed their maximum height of 6'6". Then, after he got there, surprise!

Adding two inches to his height isn't even hard---just cut the bones and stretch him out.

His father was shorter, but that didn't stop him from being a stud running back and from playing pro ball in Canada.

he may make it to 6'0, but that's probably about it.... but his height doesn't scare me nearly as much as his lack of time actually under center...

but to his credit, he's a bright kid... picking up the footwork, drops, playbook, etc. should be relatively easy for someone of his intellect....

My orthopedic surgeon told me my growth plates were pretty much hardened so I was done growing. I'm a hair over 6' now.

Hope you switched orthopedist.

he could make a great college qb. remember herb tyler under dinardo? and he could've been even better imo if dinardo hadn't tried to make him a pocket passer.

If he doesn't die young, I'd say 100% most of us do.

Also, according to others on this thread, Doug Flutie has gone from 5'10" to 5''5", so he may shrink if he play college, Canadian, and NFL football successfully.
