Is JaVonte Smart the most accomplished Louisiana HS Basketball player ever? (Srs Question)

If Scotlandville senior and LSU recruit Smart wins Louisiana Mr. Basketball and Gatorade Louisiana Player of the Year again (he's won both awards twice already) he would be the only 3-time winner of either award in state history. He's been to the state championship game all three years of his HS career and won twice, including his freshman year when he hit a clutch three to send the game into overtime and subsequently won MVP. He's also already won a gold medal with the Team USA U16 team. I don't know Smart personally but given all of his accolades and this state's rich history of BBall talent (from Karl Malone to Tweety Carter) I thought it would be an interesting discussion to have. Keep in mind we're only talking about HS career here, not college or NBA.
EDIT: Since it appears to be clear that Randy Livingston unequivocally holds the title of most accomplished in Louisiana Bball history I want to change the question to "Is Javonte Smart top 5 ever in LA history?". If so who else is in the top 5 and if not who is ahead of him?

Interesting. I'm a younger guy so I had never heard much about Livingston but looking at his accolades I would say him winning Parade Player of the Year twice would definitely set him over Smart. Would Smart be top 5 in your opinion?

Awards weren't always given out, so who really knows, but Randy Livingston was national player of the year twice. That pretty much ends this discussion.

Yeah I edited the title because "best" could be a little subjective but I agree with others on this board that Livingston would hold the title of most accomplished as well. I really would like to know where others think Smart would rank all-time or at least in recent history though. I would think he has to be at least top 5-10.

I'm a little biased because he's my cousin but I'm gonna say Derek Smith don't knock him for the small school because they were knocking off 5A schools https://www.angelfire.com/la2/JoleBlond/AHSbulldogh.html

Coach K at duke has said numerous times Livingston is still the best hs player he's ever seen.

Love how you threw tweety Carter into this mix.
The answer is Randy Livingston. No one holds a candle to him.

I'm just quoting this to emphasize that someone just posted an angelfire link and it's not 1997.

I played against Randy Livingston in high school. I also played D1 college basketball and averaged double digits two seasons so I wasn't just an varsity player. Randy Livingston was so good in high school I had three fouls in first 3 minutes of the game. He had dunked on me, knocked down a three, and made me look like a fool as he dropped one of the most beautiful dimes I have ever seen. I never played a guy in college more difficult to guard than this guy was in high school, and I played some pretty big names. Hands down best Louisiana High School player ever. Not even a discussion.

Maybe I should change the question to "Is Smart top 5 ever" because the clear consensus on this board is that Livingston is #1 hands down.

Of course it's Randy, Smart is a good lil player, but his skill level is nowhere near Livingston. Randy played on one leg in is LSU career, sadly, but this kid was playing with men on the play grounds of NOLA as a 13 year old. If he hadn't destroyed that knee he would have gone on to be one of the best NBA players ever, dude could do everything Lonzo Ball does now only he was a much better athlete and scorer.
