Excited but reading this I think he will soon realize he committed too soon. He admits he still “open” and anything can happen. Music to Texa$ ears.

Whether he says that or he says he’s shutting his recruitment down, it doesn’t matter.

We have a year and some change as the obvious leader to close and that’s a good place to be.

Amazing how fast all the pussies on this board disappear when LSU gets a big commitment.

The world went covid nuts 3 months after our title and on campus recruiting was shut down for over a year. LSU never got the chance to fully monopolize the championship momentum in recruiting. But Ed had checked out anyway.

Realistically, we need Alabama to kick uT’s arse and then lose another 3 games, alumni get pissed, and they fire Sark. Matter of fact, this is my prediction!

Wouldn't surprise me if Simmons flipped before it’s all over. Our two kids have the whole football season to get in his ear.

Hopefully we can still fight to get Simmons, still a long way to go. I’m pumped we got this guy!

No, we don’t. As in, that’s literally not true.

And we’re facing Michigan for him

Do you really think it's just a 2 team race to the finish line? I assumed at some point another team or two would jump in the mix.

It’s well known his top 2 are LSU and Michigan with nobody else really being a clear 3 along with those 2 schools. Sure schools are pressing for him, but Underwood is showing interest in Michigan and LSU. It’s a 2 horse race for Underwood.

Certainly seems that way.

Ohio State has a commitment from a top 10 2025 QB. So does Notre Dame. Can’t imagine anyone else in that region being a big threat. Alabama seems to be the leader for George MacIntyre who’s ranked 2nd.

NC State, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Miami, Baylor, Clemson, Arizona State, TCU, and Oregon also have a commit from a top 25 QB.

He’s only visited Penn State and USC once a piece. So not really sure who else would emerge.

Michigan mostly runs the ball alot and plays defense.

Harbaugh is suspended for 4 games this year. I think he’s disgruntled. He wanted the Vikings job. Not sure he stays at Michigan.

An even better update to this; that suspension was taken back after the NCAA said it wasn’t good enough for the infractions committee and put out a statement saying the issues were bigger than “just a cheeseburger”

So now that case is still open and seemingly the NCAA and harbaugh are about to go to war over the next year and even their own fans are like “this is for sure Harbaughs last year”

He can go all in on his most talented team this year and then go to the NFL before the ncaa does anything

Ryan Williams is the #1 WR in that class... but he's trying to reclassify for 2024.

Until the recruiting services adjust their ratings to get their teams they love to the top ahead of LSU.

How pessimistic do you have to be to see this as a negative? Like they’d feel more comfortable if he committed to texas and we’d have to flip him.

Sorry, just cannot root for Bama. Too much hatred for the Gumps. Maybe we can hope for a 0 - 0 final with lots of turnovers...
