LINK

Apparently this guy is a legit NFL prospect and currently the second rated overall transfer by 247 at 93. Looks like he wants a step up in competition. No idea if there is any interest in LSU and vice versa but this looks like an intriguing option.

Did he get Clifton Garrett lungs while he was up there, is the question.

Dude goes to Illinois State but just keeps grinding like a professional to the point he’s an NFL prospect.

Would love to have that mentality on the roster next year.

I want the Center from UAB, who coincidentally graded out as the highest lineman in FBS in 2024

I know the Wilson family. They are great people. Brady would definitely entertain an offer from the SEC. He was a classroom Sr. this year and graduated, but he will have one more year left of eligibility due to the COVID year.

I was always wrong about hits.

I thought Garrett was a surefire MLB.

I also thought Drayton Calhoun from Clayton GA was going to go down as the best punt returner of all time at LSU.

He never saw the field.

We may need to focus more on IOL, but he’s the ideal kind of portal recruit- play one season and leave so your top younger guys can develop and get on the field after.

we need tackles. If Emory Jones comes back he will play guard. We’ll have no returning experience at tackle and the best recruits are guards

While that may make sense given his NFL projections, that doesn’t automatically mean Jones will accept that and change positions in college because of it. He may want to play LT and try one last time to prove that he can play Tackle at the next level.

You can bet on this- the staff will let Jones choose where to play to get him back. If he does choose to move inside then Zambrano makes sense to compete with Davis and possibly Adams, who can play Tackle or Guard.

Davis needs to tell him we have an immediate opening at LT

That depends on Jones. If he wants that spot as a condition to return, he will get it. If he doesn’t come back or he moves inside, sure.
