Then be mad when Saban bolted for Miami when we should have done anything we could to keep him from that. Because other than that he is always going to get a recruit he wants over us no matter who the coach is. This is not Coach O's fault.

Nice job saving the troll line for the very end. Well done.

This might be on of the stupidest things I've read on here. Be mad at something that happened 13 years ago lol

You clearly don't understand how that situation worked. Miami's owner was not taking no for an answer. I don't blame Saban for taking that shot at the NFL and I can't blame him for taking the Alabama job as much as it fricking pains me!

It's life, shite happens! This is football, it's a sport here for our entertainment. All of the fools on this site that have went full fricking retard since the Coach O hiring really need to take a look at their life. Most are acting like they just got the word from the doctor that they have cancer!

The true fault lies at the feet of the idiot in the AD's office when he didn't fire Miles' dumb arse after the A&M game in 2015. Need to tie him and FKing up in a sack and drop them in Siberia.

Yes, but he wanted to come back and Bertman stayed with Miles. The rest is HISTORY.

All competent coaching hires left the building when Mark Emmert left. Fault is on LSU, not Saban.

There was no way LSU was going to outbid Wayne Huizenga for Saban's services.

Because Saban was done with the NFL, that's the only reason Alabama had a chance at him. And LSU already had a HC signed to a contract at the time.

But in 2004-2005, Huizenga was not taking "no" for an answer, and Saban had his mind made up to go to the NFL at the time. It's delusional to think that LSU could have paid what it would have taken to match anything that billionaire Huizenga would have offered.
