Crawford is likely juco, it’s been reported several places he’s too big of a grade risk to sign. Lots of smoke for Jackson to Bama. Burch could go either way IMO. It’s gonna be a top 5 class that fills needs, just not the epic finish some originally thought it might be (unless somehow sign Jackson and Burch ).

If O doesn’t sign one of those DL my only criticism will be that Lee would have been a tiger. Still an excellent class either way and I think they use an open spot on a LB or OL ona grad transfer. Makes sense.

Sums everything up pretty accurately IMO

Why would we grey shirt Cam Jackson if we have spots open?

With a few exceptions, if O and LSU haven’t had a high profile guy locked up before signing day they usually end up elsewhere.

This is not a condemnation of O as not being a “closer”. It just he seems he locks em up early. Can’t make a kid sign that doesn’t want to sign.

I hope LSU has 1-2 open spots left to play with after signing day. Love the flexibility of being able to bring in a seasoned guy after spring if there is a roster hole due to serious injury, a current player transferring, or a kid being kicked off the team unexpectedly.

I think it will be bigger for recruits to repeat similar success this next year.

We lost Burrow, Brady, and Aranda all at once. I can see some kids nervous about that change.

If we repeat success, then it shows that LSU football from this year is here to stay despite major changes.

Yes it does. Up to 5 early enrollees can count towards the previous years class depending on how many spots weren’t used.

Why Lee? Jenkens was rated higher and may turn out to be better. Personally I would rather hold the spots open for next signing class unless Burch or M. Jackson get in.

We didn't process Jenkins, he left on his own.

Yeah no need to post when others make well thought out posts. Just sit back and read.
