First of all I wanted Desmond Ricks to ink w/ LSU. But on the other hand if u told me you can have a 5* DB with 3 years left and a Midseason All-American with some baggage or a young 5* DB with probably 3 years left and chose a bag over heart. I would say give me the former who is ready to align with something to prove who’s already a proven talent in the SEC. Than the latter who declared early, took money over substance and hasn’t proved jksht yet. No doubt he has talent and I would be silly to say I wouldn’t want him as a Tiger but I’m all n on Denver Harris and apparently so is CBK, Toviano and DH fittn shut down them passing lanes.

There is no doubt that Harris is the better player.

You’ve just got to hope and pray he gets his head screwed on straight and toes the line. I don’t think Kelly will keep a problem around just because he can play.

Harris took the bag last year. What’s the difference?

Yeah the thing about Ricks that sucks is he was the guy to start opposite of Harris

Harris has proved himself at the college level. Ricks hasn’t. I’d prefer both obviously but if it’s pick 1, I’d go Harris.

Harris is the better corner. The off the field is the wild card.

Because Harris has already proven he can play at a high level in college. Ricks was “overrated” when it looked like he was going to sign with LSU. Also, Ricks wasn't Bama’s first choice with the desperation bag. They went after the DB committed to Miami first.

Still confused on what happened with Curley Reed. Did he just want to leave the state or did the staff not evaluate him as a take?

Can Harris speak English?

Cause Ricks can’t

I’m not convinced that Ricks is really a day one starter in the SEC. I mean he would’ve been for us out of necessity but I think he’s got a good bit of development before he becomes a truly elite player. He’s got all the talent to do it and I wanted him bad but I don’t believe he was going to be the miracle cure for our secondary next year like a lot of posters seem to think.

Yep, it seems that’s how this will shake out.

Desmond Ricks is a really good corner. Would have loved to get him but we have a great haul and I am happy with it. Go tigers.

I think this toviono is going to be a good one for us. He’s a year older and I think more likely to play year one anyways.

Harris still has a lot of questions on the personal side. I’m glad LSU took him and he is very talented but let’s not automatically assume everything is great with him and just insert him into a starter position.

Bring in as much talent as you can and let it sort itself
