If Arch Manning is good we need him in 4 years.

Just imagine if we had picked up Peyton or Eli...

It sure as hell feels that way. WHY THE FRICK NOT THOUGH... they go to fricking ole miss... OOOOLLLLEEEE MMMIIISSSS.... I can underatand Tennessee at the time, they were one of the top dogs when peyton manning went there. But ole miss? They have only been good once in their entire history... 1998 ole miss 7-5, 1998 LSU had a trainwreck season, but 1996 was 10-2 and 1997 was 9-3... c'mon guys, show some love....

WHY THE FRICK NOT THOUGH.
The Mannings picked their colleges based on coaching. The coaches at LSU sucked, and Archie Manning was not about to sacrifice his kids' future for some foolish state pride - especially since his home state was Mississippi.
Their oldest kid picked Ole Miss. I don't know why, but probably because it was his dad's alma mater, and because he was an uptown kid, and a lot of uptown kids go to Ole Miss.
The last two were QBs with pro potential. Archie sent both boys to the same coach to be trained in an NFL offense. It just so happens the guy was at Tennessee when the first boy chose and at Ole Miss for the next. I doubt there was an anti-LSU bias, more of an anti-crappy-coaching bias.

If he is Peyton’s oldest son, not sure how many he has but the boy did say his favorite school is LSU, and he was wearing a LSU jersey. Watch the 30for30 of Archie and at the end Archie is playing with his grand kids when he says it.

Why do they have to pick LSU tho? The mannings owe nothing to LSU. Archie is from Mississippi and went to Ole Miss. The only reason they live in New Orleans is because Archie played for the Saints. Like said before the two quarterbacks went where David Cutcliffe was at at the time and Cooper just wanted go where his dad went to college.

The Patriarch of the Manning family is the biggest name in the history of ole miss football. None of the Mannings will ever go to LSU.

David Cutcliffe. That's the common denominator for the Mannings. Don't act surprised when Arch goes to Duke.

I am really not sure why every LSU fan does not believe this 100%. How many fricking sons does Archie have to have in order to convince you people this is true. He is now on grandsons and we will have ZERO chance of ever getting any of his offspring.

Everything you've said is somewhat true mostly, but none of it could be the case and they still were not going to LSU. This all goes back to Archie

No Manning kid will EVER consider LSU. They will follow the tradition of wealthy uptown kids sending their children to other security school. I’d expect him to be at ole miss, but a dark horse could potentially be Clemson

This is Cooper’s son, the oldest of the Manning’s.

Pump the brakes.
He's in 8th grade. The Twitter video showed him throwing basic routes against air that literally 1,000 kids his age can do just as well. It only got spread around because his last name is Manning.
He may end up being an elite prospect or he may end up being just like every other Newman QB since his uncle.

Both Mannings wanted to play for Cutcliff. He was offensive coordinator at Tennessee and head coach at Ole Miss for Ely.

How do you know? There are perfectly logical reasons why the two QBs did not go to LSU. Why do you need to manufacture an anti-LSU bias? Archie was a professional football player. He understands that it's a profession. It's about making money not about rah, rah, rah. It's different for us fans, but don't expect an athlete with a good head on his shoulders to make decisions the way a fan would.
If LSU has top notch offensive coaches running a scheme that suits their prospect, I would expect the Manning clan to consider LSU strongly. They sent one to friggin Tennessee for crying out loud.
