You can put it on espn 2 and watch Julian Phillips look like the best player on his team in this geico national tournament.
That dude would have been great to keep after wade was fired but it’s just the way things are now. Coaches leaving, plus future sanctions , is a recipe for losing every commit and every guy on the roster that gets a similar school size offer somewhere else.
Phillips looks so fricking polished , he’s number 5 in white. Very long and athletic with a silky smooth jumpshot .
He’s a better defender than anyone else on the floor as well .
Good God things are changing. It had to be done though

The whole thing sucks. I don’t know if LSU will take in 5 star after 5 star anymore. But, we’ve seen deep runs in the tourney year after year from schools with inferior talent. The one commonality was senior and junior led teams. We need these kids developed and not leave after one year

It really didn't. This is a defeatist attitude. This how losers think.

I think we’re talking about two different things

I’m talking about that wade had to be fired after the proof they had on 6 different level one violations. I’m not saying we should give up as a program. That would be a defeatist attitude

Nope I like football and football schools.

It’s a shame for sure, because we know that all the schools are doing some of the same things. It was just the fact that the allegations were backed up with so much evidence. I mean, the larp has all of his text messages as evidence, they have the transactions from the bank . That in itself is something that no coach would survive. That’s not even counting the other 5 and that includes the wiretap.
Can anyone think of an example of a coach that wasn’t fired after 6 level 1s and loic almost assured? Don’t say Kansas , I’ve read through all of the noas from the ncaa to every school that was thereafter hit with loic . The only ones that kept the job after said noas were tame compared to wades.
I’m not sure that all of the ones I read ended up being hit with loic but most were and once again, all that were retained didn’t have shite on wade.
If we would have kept him after the punishment it would have been the biggest frick you to the ncaa in the associations history . That would mean that the penalty would be much worse. I’m not even sure he could have been kept legally

I wish it was that easy for me, I’m incapable of not caring about the big three sports at lsu and no I don’t mean softball.
This isn’t just for football

It sure would be a motherfricking shame if that weird arse Odell Beckham jr and his drunken shannanigans , along with some frickhead that decided it’s the football programs fault that a guy that was known to attend lsu games decided on his own to give vadal fricking alafrickingzanders frick arse pop a no show job like that’s somehow LSU’s fault.
Then you got frickface orgeron who isn’t content with blowing up a kids phone every 20 minutes like a girlfriend , no that’s not enough for Ed, Ed also wanted to get some calls in during the dead period like it was gonna be the make or break move to land whoever this misevaluated kid happened to be .
frick all of them. I’m gonna be a fricking hornet if we come out in the 2023 season and finish undefeated , only to have been notified earlier in that year that we weren’t eligible for the fricking Alabama invitational.
frick my life. I’m just gonna dive head first into baseball and baseball recruiting. Oh wait , Nevermind, I forgot in baseball you can sign the number one fricking class in the nation and then literally have to replace all of your best recruits with fricking juco guys because half your class gets drafted.
Yeah , baseball, that’s the one for me . I don’t see any frustration on the horizon when it comes to the whole baseball recruiting process. Jesus Christ
ETA I’m having a moment, I didn’t Check grammar . I can only imagine

The stars on every team leave early, the 3 & 4 yr players are gone. Power 5 teams that make big runs with junior and senior full teams are a thing of the past. There are runs made by mid major teams, Dayton, George Mason, Butler, and oh yea Murray St , are we Murray St. No I think right now we’re Georgia, it’ll take at least 3 years, free of sanctions before any 5* talent looks our way. The days of LSU b-ball are fading fast no matter how many transfers we get, we won’t sniff anything til he’s (coach M) is able to recruit full force. IMHO I think he’s a great hire to get us thru this but there’s no Morants walking through the PMAC doors, I hope he can recruit as good as I think he can coach, he may be a better coach than WW but ain’t NO way he’s a better recruiter. And before u say he paid players they ALL do, WW could talk the language.

We will be the experiment for seeing if an sec team can compete using the strategy that mid majors do. We will recruit guys that are 3 and 4 year guys. If you want to be optimistic about it , then you can say, we will be able to do what they do at mid majors which is taking guys that are3-4 year players and mixing that in with the occasional recruit or transfer that those mid majors may not be able to get on campus like an sec school with some history can do.
That really would be a pretty good plan, I’ll repeat that in a way that may be easier to understand what I’m saying.
We start off by getting the transfers that we have to get this year to even have a full roster. This won’t be the norm. Then we recruit guys that will be special with development but may not be there yet . Then you go to the portal and get your 2or3 guys that we’re big time recruits but are now looking for more pt . This is what the future will be and it will just get better and better the closer we get to being out of this shite sanction life.
With good coaching I believe the mid major style system can work but you will have to get a new guy to come in for a year to fill in a position of need or that’s just the best available player .
This year it will be the same formula, it’s just gonna be less transfers and more developing recruits as we go on

No, it had to be done. Wade flagrantly cheated, there was direct evidence against him and he lied to the AD. He had to be fired at that time. If the players and the fans can't understand that, it's on them.

Wade would have screwed him up.

This is what I have a problem with. You’re gonna punish a new coach and new players (who want to be here) by your lack of support. Now is the time to support the team more than ever.

The misunderstanding of the NOA is VERY hurtful to LSU whether you like WW or not.
First of all these are allegations not violations. Please learn the difference.
Second, because these are allegations evidence is required to meet the threshold of proof.
At least two of these allegations will be thrown out because they do not meet the threshold of proof and one or two will be reduced to ethical violations.
