I think we are in very good shape for QB - Narcisse

Focusing on Narcisse, i really think he is going to surprise some people and compete hard for the QB job in 2 years. He has more to prove than Brennan, Scott and others; I know he is hearing the rumblings of his injuries and hearing that he cannot make it because of that; i think this is only going to fuel the fire and increase his work ethic to make sure he is in the best shape possible and rehabbing to the best of his ability. I think the future is bright!

I think Brennan will be hard to beat out

It will not only benefit him to bust his tail to compete for the starting job, but it will make the other QB's better too. I wish this kid nothing but the best for staying home and trying to help LSU win championships.

I think I like your Sunshine, Sir.
I think this coaching staff will put our players in the best possible situation to succeed.
The young men who commit to play for this team deserve to be put in the position to achieve their goals.
The cream will rise to the top.
It's nice when the sun comes out.
Geaux Tigers!

The Scott/Brennan/Narcisse threads are going to be unbearable over the next few years if the starter doesn't absolutely dominate.

The winner of the Narcisse vs Brennan battle will finally be the QB we have been waiting for. Both are excellent. May the best man win.

You all say the same shite every single year. Brennan and Narcisse. Jennings, Rettig, and Rivers. Jefferson and Lee. The list goes on and on and on. The point is that none of you know anything about these players. Just wait and see what they do when they get here and STFU.

This is pretty much what goes through my mind when I see these threads. All our other qb fails were highly recruited qbs as well. Nobody knows how these guys will fair in SEC play. I'm praying that Narcisse or Brennan can make some noise for us. Narcisse looks like a damn linebacker already so he's physically ready and Brennan is not. Maybe it won't take much for Brennan to pack on some poundage though.

We haven't really seen LN in action in basically two years. He is built for the part, minus some catching up on his lower half that a year under weights will fix. And he has an absolute cannon like we haven't seen since Jamarcus. So yeah, I'm sure he will have something to prove.
And Brennan, he obviously learned from his interactions with Brett Favre. He progresses through his reads, has good accuracy and can throw a good deep ball. Launches it from his ear hole with a very quick release, though he also needs a year under weights.
Bottom line: these are two very dissimilar quarterbacks, each equally talented on different ends of the spectrum. This is a damn good problem to have.

I get where you're coming from, but this is a message board. It is a message board made for people to discuss topics pertaining to recruiting. This subject fits that description. Chill, bruh.

I cannot wait to see Narcisse. He has a pro QB body type and elite speed. Could be amazing.

Use them both. Wildcat with Narcisse.

I know that no one knows the future, but here's the thing. While we can't guarantee how any of our current QBs or commits will develop, the fact that we will have 3 guys with real potential vying for the job in 2018 means that we will have a legitimate QB competition. That competition will force a certain levels of development and help insure that we end up with an SEC caliber QB starting for us.

I think 1 of the 3 will transfer out. Most likely the 3rd string.
Surprised McMillan hasn't left yet. With 3 years of eligibility, I just don't see him beating out Brennan Scott or Lowell in 2018.

The knock on Narcisse's accuracy has been radically overblown. When he has time to pass, he is plenty accurate. If you want a comparable QB, just look at Deshaun Watson.
Posted on 1/4/17 at 11:46 pm to jpcajun
Narcisse completed 58% of passes in high school. That's a problem!!

A healthy Narcisse plays like Michael Vick. Has a cannon of a left arm, with very good scrambling ability. I don't think Brennan can beat him out.
