Boy, It sure looks like Les is having a hard time recruting. Maybe he should start blindly offering kids before he know just how good they will be...

You can not be serious. Miles is everywhere. These teams are trying to fill needs that may not be the same needs as LSU's . In short and in case you have not noticed...COACH MILES IS A DAMN STRONG RECRUITER.

I hope so. I'm just not sure how many recruits and their families do their research. I wonder if they care to compare the family life of coaches they're entrusting their children to... I'm not saying Saban is an ogre, but there's a big difference.

This is Saban : When he recruited for LSU he had not yet lied in front of TV cameras; he had not yet quit a job that was tailored to meet his every want & need and then PHONED his assistant coaches to tell them he was gone; he had not yet refused to meet with his team to inform them he was leaving them in the breach as bad off if not worse than when he arrived; if I was a parent I wouldn't believe Nick as long as his lips were moving. Is he a good college coach? yes. Is he the greatest college coach and recruiter out there? No I could care less about Saban. It's hard for me to believe that LSU fans are worried about him taking La. guys. Nick will get those who either have grade problems or we simply don't have room for....that's it...he'll have to plumb the depths of talent in the Bammy woods, maybe Ga. & Florida. LSU sells because we have top notch facilities, great coaching, and a HC will great integrity. Integrity is something that Bama cannot claim as long as Lil Nicky's there. When Nick was here, we all knew he was an ahole...but not until the Miami debacle was it clear that he is a lying ahole!

According to this board nick offered to bring all his assistants with him from msu and no one would come. You were pissed when saban left for Miami and now you feel sorry for Miami because of the way he left them? If I'm not wrong, didn't miles tell okie state he wasn't going anywhere a week before he left? Is that the integrity that you're talking about? saban's bowl record 4 wins 6 losses. even 34 million dollars can't buy integrity. lil nicky is a very good coach. he'll be at penn state in 2 years.

FWIW they were suggested by $aban and planned and carried out by Bertmann LSU's AD. Bertmann should get at least equal if not more credit. LSU designed a criteria for hiring a football coach and found/hired $aban. (LSU gave him his shot on the big stage of the SEC with all support) Part of the resentment by all fan bases is that Bama in their desperate and delusional, self centered way merely threw money at their football problem. The irony is while we all know napolean will make Bama relevant again he has not proven he can repeat past success at Bama. A past success he is currently getting paid for. I for one have never seen a Coach parlay 1 nat'l championship season out of several as a HC into so much money. (That championship game was won by 1 score and LSU's Vincent (RB) scored on a blown gap assignment defense which was the difference....Thank the Lord not $aban.) In short, $aban was good for LSU but gets too much credit. The landscape in the SEC has changed since then. Largely in part by Bama paying so much for their HC. Now all schools are catching on the PAY game ie. UT. Miles and Meyer have earned their money at their respective current Jobs...$aban has not. His reputation has become larger than he can keep pace with and may be his ultimate un doing at Bama. If I am wrong and he does win it all then I predict he leaves shortly there after to attempt to become the 1rst HC to win it all at 3 different schools. If you dont believe this scenario matches his EGO than the Gumps truly are delusional.

I know lsu got every pennies worth. And so far I'd say saban is paying off in dividends.
