After the bowl game, some will leave. Before, during and after Spring ball, some will also move on. Happens every year.

Seem to remember some buzz about him in the slot pre-injury, but could be wrong here...

Lee just transfered here last year. He has used his one time free transfer.

NCAA said fall sports don’t have to sit out. Look for more athletes to enter the portal since no penalty.

With NIL, a few players can pay their own way.

No. They said winter and spring don't have to sit.

Transfer news: In a clarification the NCAA sent schools Thursday & obtained by @YahooSports, multi-time transfers - including football players - who enter the portal this fall will be eligible to play at their new school *next year* without a waiver.

To my knowledge, Williams has not said that. He only said he was "leaning towards coming back." No way is Williams back if Diggs comes back. Williams playing time was greatly diminished with the Diggs addition...not to mention Holly, Jackson, and now Durham.
Saw somewhere where a media guy asked him and he said he was foming back. Also, who's to say Diggs is staying?

the Lee I was referring to is Jalen Lee, who could be a graduate...out of HS 4 years.
I know who you were referring too, but who knows if he will be a graduate?

You know that one free transfer rule is about to go the way of the Edsel right? The NCAA already lost via the temporary injunction in the courts for this BB season. Their one time free transfer rule will be thrown out completely. The courts don't look too kindly on ANY restriction against players...so good luck on that staying around
Yeah I heard about that, but it's all speculation on whether it will happen past this upcoming spring.

Personally, I don't see Lee leaving. If I'm not mistaken, he is the immediate backup, AT WORST on the DL. If just one of Wingo/Smith leaves, he becomes a top 3 DT on the team at the worst.

Ok, this is getting funny. First, some of my expected departures are questioned and now one of my expected stays is questioned.

On the Jalen Lee deal, I was referring to an earlier post where that person thought the Lee I was referring to was the incoming signee K Lee. Mark this down! The NCAA rule about only allowing a one time transfer without sitting out is history. When is the last time the NCAA has won a court case?

As far as Wingo or Smith, I don't see either one leaving unless they want to be a 3rd day draft pick at best. Smith better have another good year after the one 3 seasons ago. In 2022, he was hurt the entire season...this past season he was a ghost of his former TR FR self. As far as Wingo, he also regressed badly due to his upper body injury. He needs to have another good year to follow up on his SO season.

No need to concern yourself about it. They’ve got it covered.

Wrong. He has a covid year if he wants it.

No, you are mistaken. The current year's players that have exhausted eligibility are not listed in the 2024 approximated depth chart posted and the list does not include Thomas and Nabers either.

You're probably like Georgia and other major programs where some guys aren't actually on athletic scholarships but to save face and respect the players they don't announce which 85 have them. It's a numbers game that I wouldn't worry about.
