Adoree would probably be used on offense, so the others would be the fab five and unfortunately John Battle IV would be offered a greyshirt.

Show me a link where SHE said that. It was speculated but she didn't say that. She went to Bama before he committed
I watched it on TV with my own eyes and was shocked when she said that she had never been to Alabama, but that she felt that they would treat her Son "better" as LSU "had not done all they could" exact words as I remember.

That's why I don't like to comment on the situation cause you're obviously closer to it than me... Last thing I want is to claim some kind of insider status but the shite I'm hearing makes me think OM might just say the right things and land him.

Anyone care to share where these Ole Miss projections are coming from for Hootie?
I didn't know Ole Miss was high on his list.
Sorry I have been offline for the last few days if discussed already…

Jamal Adams is apparently priority #1 for LSU. They aren't going to risk their chance at Adams by going all in on the Hootie race, when he could still flip back to Alabama. His good friend CJ Hampton is at Ole Miss. It can happen.

Yup.
I hope Hootie understands he is forcing LSUs hand.eWe want you BAD Hootie. Stay home.
But like everyone is saying, its too risky to take a chance on getting Zero if hootie leaves us holding tje bag

I really wish Hootie would have never put dat damn visor on... He really screwed himself. I hope he makes it in P&G but if not oh well his loss

I believe that if J. Adams commits to LSU Hootie will be out. I don't think we take both. Strictly a numbers thing. When Hootie committed to bama LSU turned its attention elsewhere and there is only room for one more DB. Just my opinion.

And what about Tony Brown?
Posted on 12/21/13 at 9:20 am to RichardT
How do you figure there's only room for one more DB?
We have 16 commits right now. That's room for nine more.
1) Leonard Fournette
2) Tony Brown
3) Speedy Noil
4) Malachi Dupre
5) Gerald Willis
6) Jamal Adams
Hootie can easily get a scholarship without endangering anything else.

He will be a Tiger.
I believe there are only 2 or 3 spots left that the coaches are still looking to fill and they are not DBs. It's my opinion based on some things I've been told.

Why does that make you laugh out loud?

WR/TE- Quinn, Chark, Upchurch, Washington
S/CB- Paris, Voorhies, Battle
Add in the addition of Dupre and Noil, add in the addition of Brown and Adams/Hootie
That's 12, nearly half our class filling out those four positions, 11 filling out 3.
We still have realistic shots at other positions like defensive line and LB

I actually think they've made this stance pretty obvious.

Why wasn't LSU making the full court press for Adams before Hootie Comitted to Alabama?
Posted on 12/21/13 at 9:49 am to VermilionTiger
Guys, the reason this is going on is because Hootie made a bad decision. IF he wanted LSU and IF he wanted this to end, he would come out and say "I made a mistake, I love LSU and do not want to attend Alabama, and I will do whatever it takes to let JA know LSU is the place for both of us to dominate"
Ok, maybe I got a little greedy on his comments, but you get the point. He is still playing games and LSU is not getting it twice from the same guy. Its simply his move to beg!
I can see this being a problem because these kind of stars are used to being begged and not having to work to get a college's full attention. Why in the world would LSU trust him and lose out on someone like JA?
He knows full well that if he goes to OM, he will watch as the dream team of db's dominate OM for the next 4 years.
