If the post above yours is true, that does to appear to be the case. I couldnt imagine him passing up EE this late in the game and waiting for NSD

I'm not reading all 48 pages, but according to Bama's recruiting thread, Hootie is looking hard at Ole Miss. Is this possible, or rather more likely than him coming to LSU?

Maybe LSU told him if he wanted to be a Tiger now, he would have to wait until signing day to make sure him signing early couldn't have a negative impact on Adams' choice?

Nobody knows. The common theme is lsu has backed off. At least for now...

No one really knows. I'm leaning towards LSU, but who knows.

Ponamsky is lying is arse off: "Hootie has not talked to anyone at LSU."
I was told last week he was contacting Frank asking if LSU might still have room for him.

Ponamsky is wrong on some of what he has said and correct on another portion of it. There has been contact between Hooties camp and LSU.

True

cant cool in him

False. Absolutely false. You can basically make a kid feel unwanted, that they are not a priority, and let them know they will probably not play by "cooling" on a kid if they target another recruit or change their minds. Not saying it happens that bluntly, but it can happen more or less in that fashion.

Hootie waiting until NSD is a good thing for LSU.

Well CJ did tweet on Wednesday something about him sticking with his Ole Miss fam, and then he decommitted the same day

Not that I ever thought his commit to OM would stick. Just funny to see them squirm.

Thanks, I just read another thread explaing some of that, but why is LSU backing off him? Possibly to land someone else first? I'm not familiar with the recruiting game.

Duckie, this is exactly my question. Does it guarantee a player an athletic scholarship or does it bind the university to offer financial aid?

well, technically yes...but in this case, a 5 star safety, that would not happen

According to who? You? 247? That doesn't matter, if a coach feels like a kid played himself out of the offer (that he earned his Jr year) by his play during his senior year, then he can basically abandon him. Not saying this is a clear cut case of this at all, just something that has to be considered.

sure it is considered but i have seem him play throughout this year...kid is a man among boys so the "he played his way out of an offer" is just bs imo
