ole miss doesn't make sense here. why would both Hootie and hampton go to ole piss with conner haveing two more years as starter. not going to happen.

Think about the comments Hootie and his mother made right after verballing to Alabama. It likely rubbed the staff the wrong way.

Lots of misinformation everywhere. In reality, no one here knows what team hootie said or didnt say to/about LSU's staff. If we're referring to lack of effort in pursuing him, I dont think Les was offended. We actually reassigned a different recruiter.
If so, I'm sure Les took Barney's one bullet away.
