people want to hate on the staff but they knew he wouldnt qualify and it was discussed on here multiple times. It is not worth offering a kid and letting him commit only to have it affect our other wide receiver prospects....especially when its 2 5 stars and a high 4 star.

everyone knew that kid wouldn't end up at Bama, either grades, asked to grey shirt, or processed at some point in time.

Bama used that kid simply to get at Crob. Not to discredit the kid, because he's a great player, but Bama knew what they were doing.

Isn't it kinda early to declare a kid ineligible?

He must have some turrible grades

Interdasting.

I'm sure the "Will this affect C-Rib" questions will pop up rather quickly..

My guess is it's Bama for CRob whether Sims is there or not

I just don't see CRob leaving Bama. He is one of their main recruiters, but ya never know.

Can they hold onto him though without Sims and Hootie there?

I understand that he is ALL Bama right now, but let's see how that goes when he realizes he's going to be the only LA player going there

He is because he's committed there. I would want to recruit for my school as well, but it goes back to what I said above this

Dude caught a lot of shite, and seemed to embrace the villain role.

If he does consider the thought, it would be huge

At the same time, those who made him the villain would welcome him back with open arms. If you do say that you don't want a 5* offensive tackle because of things he said that were at least somewhat provoked, you're an idiot

Yep

That's why I hate how easy it is to interact with recruits now.

If you see Sims in River Ridge, he'll qualify.

I think this is pretty telling. Seems he genuinely likes the idea of going against the grain and leaving the state. Can't really blame a teenager for that.
