Bottom LIne: Les Miles and LSU are doing a poor job by letting top LA recruits slip away. You can slice it any way you want, it’s inexcusable for LA players who have LSU on the top of their list to let leave the state.

This phrase comes up alot when recruits choose Bama. They are always "thinking about their family."
I think that they mean taking care of their family down the road from a financial standpoint. I don't know if everyone saw the 60 minutes episode last month with Saban, but the recruiting page that he sent out had several of the top Alabama NFL picks signing bonus check as part of the packing. It also listed the players name with years and total amount of the contract. That's huge as far as "taking care of my family" goes.

Worst of luck to him and his new team plus 1000x.
And quit with all the bullshite excuses just say the truth. Offer was better for me, and I really don't care about being from Louisiana anyway.
Then after u declare bankruptcy after your NFL career is over like what is it now 85% of NFL players now after five year, see what they are willing to do for u.

Taking care of family is code and always has been for money and other illegal benefits.

Mama Jones said that she is happy because she wants her son at a place with family values that's gonna look out for him the best? And she thinks that's Alabama?
Any proof why Ala isn't a place like that?

Who said they had LSU at the top of their lists in the first place?
Shocking as it is for some to believe, there are LA recruits that don't want to go to LSU, and nothing can change their minds.
Some recruits want to stay close to home, others can't wait to leave home.

we are getting good kids out of Texas, it all comes out in the wash. last time i saw landon collins, he was chasing the receiver that got 10 yards behind him....we will have a great recruiting class..

What the heck does this even mean? Because she didn't get treated like a princess while at LSU? Good riddance to the whole family.

That is hilarious. Saban gives two shites about anyone but himself. He is the most self serving little bastard ever.

She did not get the LX package on that ride I assume.

Very sad that at the salary our staff gets ANYONE would outwork them for an in state recruit. Btw if hootie said it I believe it. Not so much for CRob.

When mama Jones makes a statement like that it insinuates that Lsu isn't that type of environment or that she feels like Bama will take care of her son more than LSU. Isn't Les Miles the players coach? The one that emphasizes family? Isn't he the coach that is never losing his fricking mind on players during games?
I find it hard to believe that anyone would argue that Saban possesses any of those qualities

It doesn't mean that at all. Stop being insecure
She could have very well thought the same about lsu.
