Still blows my mind kids like this go to Bama. It shouldnt. There are forces at work which are greater than fandom or childhood dreams. Recognize.
Loyalty is not big in the personal virtue category nowadays, Mick. Pragmatism prevails.
Besides, there are many aspects and dynamics which go into a winning team. The fickle injury of a player or key players upon which he depends.
There are a ton of good runners, q-backs, etc. out there who didn't pick their team on national tv with all the frills. Hell...look at little ole Southeastern and their QB.
Saban ain't invincible, and his kharma ain't all good. He proved it when he didn't take that easy 3, and two score lead.

Hottie had an opportunity to get immediate playing time as a Tiger...he will enjoy running down on kick offs...Adams or whoever will enjoy complimenting our young stud corners...Any in state kid who chooses another program over LSU in this era is dead to me...Either way if you're good enough you will make it to the NFL..life after football and living in state as a LSU alum carries far more clout...

Bama was better to Hooties Mom I guess?

For you people bashing this area KISS MY ARSE....if you people thought for one minute the people around here wanted Hootie to go to Bama youre more stupid than I thought....don't blame the area for losing kids....or shall I make a list of all the recruits that are playing elsewhere from south Louisiana? The problem isn't the area....and that's all I am saying about this today.
the crowd cheered when he put on the Bama visor man...

I was trying to tell people this last night, as I have a sister-in-law from Monroe who told me that lots of folks up there don't really like LSU.
Why?

yeah, yeah, yeah. LSU didn't put in the work and didn't care about Jones. They didn't make an in-home at all last night. etc. etc. etc. etc.

As far as Stud, that's fat dead weight that needs to be gone
I think Lauberge would be very disappointed if Stud was let go. I have been there twice in my life and seen him both times at the tables. Saturday night being one of them. Not sure if he made the Sunday in-house visit or not but he was gambling late Saturday night.

Stud is a terrible OL coach and recruiter, guy needs to "find another job"
Ensminger is a TE coach that doesn't recruit all that well. That's a problem

I mean they are happy a local boy is going where he wants to go. Was it an excessive jumping up and down celebration? Or was it an applause for a kid that's worked hard to go to wherever he wants to play football?
Posted on 12/2/13 at 10:19 am to Johnny4lsu
Did the crowd really cheer?

I want someone like Ed Paris fighting with me in a foxhole, that's all I know.
Yeah, let's cry over Hootie for a couple more hours or so, but then let's celebrate the warriors that actually want to ride with LSU.
