I had an ex-classmate who hooked up with a chic that used a fake id to get into a bar, back in the day. He ended up sleeping with her and her parents found out, he assumed she was 18, cause he met her in the bar. turns out she was 16. He spent 7 yrs in jail for it.

Les will never let him on the team. Don't need the pub and doesn't want to waste all the good feelings he received with his decision to stay. Les is a decent man and this was not a decent act by someone who you would want as a leader on your team. Ain't gonna happen. Moveon

what would be your opinion about a sophomore in high school offering to give a blow job to a senior? Just answer that question.

I have a cop friend that got arrested in almost the same manner. His girlfriend picked the girl up at a bar, onthge way home she was texting him and sending pictures of her naughty parts. So they had the threesome bring the girl home the next morning and mom is waiting. Not good, they both ended up arrested. He lost his job. Girl's grandmother goes to the police and tells them what a tramp the girl is and to drop the charges. No dice. Girl gets pregnant and he's still awaiting trial.

BTW it happened in a room off of the gym and this ain't the girls first rodeo.

This incident happens everyday in almost any school, just maybe not at school. A senior gets a BJ from a slutty freshman. It made me think back to how many time this could have happened to me. Shouldn't be a penalty just cuz you turn 18 sooner than others. Especially if consenteThatches the girls parents fault for letting her become a slut so young.

I dated a girl who was a year younger but in my class. She skipped a grade early on. Didn't stop me.

Irrelevant. This is a premier high school football player trying to get a scholly to a premier football program. What the law does to him is another issue but he is not playing football at a major university. Perhaps Jacksonville State or on the Mean Machine!

Dude she is a frehsman, I know when I was in school it was normal for many of the juniors and seniors to go after the freshman. It's not that big of a deal. Personally if the video shows he didnt pressure her then I don't feel he did anything wrong. Jmo. I know they will get him for stat rape though.

All Yall saying its fricked up, would you have turned down a blowjob from a 17year old freshman at lsu when u were a 22-23 year d senior at lsu? It's the same thing.

There are just some things you shouldn't say...this is one of them....idiot

He's a POS and cooked, period. And you know what, I don't know all the facts, but I do understand that he is 18 and she is 14. If those two simple facts are true it doesnt matter what she says by way of consent. It is statutory rape.

There is very little to any grey area in the law on this.

Yes, 14 year-olds are less innocent today then they were 10, 20 or 30 years ago. But that's an indictment on our society, not an excuse. IF what is alleged to have happened did occur, do you really think the 14 year-old in question is mature enough to engage in this type of behavior? No. And IF it happened, she is going to regret this for the rest of her life.

Vs.

quote:

I know this happened at my high school. I didn't do it, but I didn't think it was nuts or criminal.

And if everyone is so disgusted, the high school system needs to be changed to keep 14 year olds away from them.

You basically see the cultural gap and the age gap that exists between people who are from an older generation versus what is now considered accepted fact of what goes on at high schools everywhere.

ETA: I am in no way condoning his actions. It is statutory rape--there is no grey area.

Sounds like it was the boys basketball locker room. Bball players used to pull girls in there all the time when I was at RHS. I never understood why they left that locker room unlocked all day.

LSU777,I agree with your take. This stuff happens everywhere and all the time.If there was no force then to me it's no big deal.Of course the age thing does matter according to the law but laws are also eligible to be applied or not applied due to logic and circumstances. It will all depend on whether there truly was force or if the girl consented. If the girl consented it will be up to the prosecutor to apply the facts of the case and the circumstances involved to determine whether they choose to consider this a punishable offense.

For those saying wait until you have a daughter and you'll understand, while i completely understand the thinking and personally feel the same way about MY daughter,it does not mean that you aren't allowing personal feelings to be the judge. If you take the personal aspect out you may look at things differently. If the girl consented on her own accord and the boys are criminals and reprehensible then what does that say about the girl?Just because of age the girl should not get a pass for her own reprehensible behavior. She is just as accountable in the situation as the boys are IF she was a willing participant.Saying she is only 14 is a copout.Trust me 14 year olds know exactly what they're doing.Put it like this if a 14 year old girl killed someone would you be asking for her to get a break because she's only 14?I doubt it.

All that said if Hill did force the girl then he deserves all the time that he gets. Also this does show a lack of judgement on the kids part and the coaches should look deeper into things to see if he truly is worth the trouble.Treat him with the same gloves that were used with Zach Mettenberger.
