No, that is all in your head.
The reason he is visiting Texas is because his high school coach is buddies with Porter (our old recruiting coordinator and Memphis Grad) who now works for Texas. The coach is quoted as saying he wanted Herron to see all his options, but that he is 100% committed to LSU.
Herron and any other defensive player out there would love to line up next to RN.

Funny thing is, no one from Ole Miss is worried about RN coming last min to visit LSU yet we go into panic mode as soon as one of ours goes for a look see. I guess this happens when you've been burned before.

I'm quite sure not everyone on this board is in panic mode about Herron and I'm also quite sure many rebels are in panic mode regarding RN, Herron has committed to us but RN is still uncommitted, I think we have a better chance w/ RN than UT has with Big Frank Herron

Well, Larry Porter has well established connections in the Memphis area.
There was no prior hint of a visit taking place. So, both parties kept this very much under the radar and wanted this visit to happen.
LSU also can not visit Herron.
