Could he be compared to a Dalton Hilliard type back?

Lol. Why did they use a picture of Palelei getting tackled and fumbling the ball on NOLA.

LaDainian Tomlinson at NFL combine: 5-10, 222, 4.46 40-yard dash

Ray Rice at NFL combine: 5-8, 199 pounds, 4.42 40

Sione Palelei at LSU camp: 5-9, 202 pounds, 4.45 40.

Sounds like he fits the mold of what Cameron is looking for. Low center of gravity, but strong. Great ball skills. Ability to make people miss in space.

Palelei is the perfect Cameron back.

Of course, Fournette is the perfect back in any scheme. His 40 is probably the same as Palelei. His ball skills are the same. Fournette is just a freak.

His tape looks similar to Sproles except he's thicker. But the running style is pretty close.

That picture is from his Freshman year against East St John when they were in the same District. The Picayune probably only had this game photo in their archive of him, I guess, lol.

Not to derail the thread, but if changes on the staff were not made and CC didn't come aboard, who would get the offer, Williams or Palelei?

That's actually a really good question. Palelei isn't a "Stud" or a "Les" kind of back. Williams seems like he is.

Agreed. If Quinn and Speedy and whoever else was looking for evidence of the offense shifting direction, to me Palelei's commitment is the best evidence yet.

You know just like any offensive minded HC, they always can tell their OC what they want every now and then but les is letting cam do just about everything.

Les will only tell cam if he wants to go for it on fourth, go for two here, stuff like that. Which is what a lot of HC do when their OC runs the offense.

But yeah short side option and the infamous toss plays will definitely not be cam
