No it's not.

Why? Because LSU has the ability to go OOS and replace them with guys like....

Really, ok what OL - "left tackle" are we recruiting that we will replace the loss of the #3 recruit in the country.

And it is not that we can't go out of state and recruit, it is that we are losing one of the top 3 recruits in the county in our backyard from a program that has been LSU proud for as long as I can remember. Those are supposed to be the lay-ups that aren't lay-ups anymore.

Does not compute!

This statement would mean that you think LSU is below Bama. Do you think that LSU cannot compete with Bama?

Do you think that LSU is not the same caliber as Bama?

Football is a game of inches genius. Anyone can point to their Natty's to back up their argument, but if a couple of plays went differently you wouldn't be riding Bama's dick as hard as you are. OR MAYBE YOU WOULD!

Yep. It's so hypocritical. Les can be the greatest recruiter in the world by landing OOS top prospects.....

god forbid a La. kid wants to leave.

In football, at this time in history, yes, LSU is below Alabama. Kinda hard to argue otherwise. Every school is.

Obviously LSU can compete with Bama.

I don't understand that being able to admit that Bama is the better program at the moment means I'm "riding Bama's dick". Jesus.

No, it's not a problem because of LSU's class is unreal.

Now, if LSU was having a problem landing recruits and not bringing in monster class, then sure....I'd agree with you. But they're not and they're bringing in kids from everywhere in the country.

What I'm saying is that LSU can afford to lose whoever they're going to lose and they'll replace them with another elite prospect. The difference between the two probably won't be so gigantic, you'd notice it.

I think most everyone is just mad because there are BAMA posters around flaunting it. I hate BAMA fans too, but I'm not going to let it ruin my fandom

Wow talk about counting your chickens before they hatch. If I remember correctly "and I do" about 3 months ago everyone was counting CRob in that "LSU class that is unreal." As it stands right now your unreal class is not ranked in anyone's top 10 with current commitments.

You are wrong losing an in-state left tackle that is the #3 recruit in the nation is not easy to replace and the difference will probably be huge.

No this has nothing to do with the Gumps bragging, truly I could give a sh*t what they say. This is starting to become a trend "Lacy, Collins, Williams, Sims & CRob" We don't want our most hated and biggest rival coming into our state taking these types of recruits out of our state. We are not going to get everyone, but this is becoming a disturbing trend. If you can't see that, than discussing things with you is moot.

You are an embarrassment to the LSU fanbase( if you even are one which I highly doubt).

First off are you a high school kid? If so , please disregard my statements to you.

Secondly, ( if you are a grown man) are you coming to the game against TCU because I would like to meet you and introduce you to some real LSU fans?

They're not. There's depth so there's no backup plan. LSU obviously wanted him because he's from Louisiana and he's good.

Oh yeah? How about last year? What top recruits from Louisiana did LSU "lose?" Tim Williams? There were some issues there.

2012. Collins. there's 1.

What about 2011? What top prospects did LSU lose?

2010. Trovon Reed. Want to count that as a bad loss? Go ahead.

But sure, with Robinson, that's 2 recruits in 3 classes......

But, LSU will be landing Fournette as well. So think what you want.

you're acting like Robinson is going to be all-world before he even steps on a college field.

So who is counting chickens?

Here we go again with this.

Again, I bet you don't have a problem with taking OOS kids from Texas, Illinois, Florida, North Carolina, New Jersey.

The differences with those states are:

1- they have multiple major d-1 schools

Or

2- they don't have a school that is a true football power house

Also look at the populations of Texas and Florida. It's a bit of a different animal.

With that said, not saying that every Louisiana kid has to go to LSU. Just sucks when ones go without good reason

Yeah? Texas and Florida doesn't? We're talking TOP prospects. Not just any prospects.

Texas/Florida have multiple in-state powerhouse schools so that kinda dilutes your point

I put the word "or" between 1 and 2.

In cases where multiple major schools exist, for example texas, not choosing the university of Texas isn't seen as shunning "the state" because it happens all the time. In Louisiana, rightly or wrongly, since there is only one major d-1 school in the state and it is currently one of the premier programs in the nation, choosing to go OOS especially to the most hated rival is seen as such.
