Just spent the past 5 min watching his highlights, so I now have an expert opinion.
Nose for the ball.
Hits hard but doesn’t always wrap up.
Decent but not amazing speed but good enough lateral quickness.
Seems like he is a smart player and reads qb and wr routes well.
Solid defending run game and quick on his feet.
Overall a solid player

Going from Andre Sam and Sage Ryan and Major Burns and Jardin Gilbert (still here but hopefully will never play meaningful snaps) to Haulcy might actually feel as though we are getting a GOAT
We have grown so accustomed to safeties not run supporting, not reading the QB, not make ANY plays on the ball, taking terrible angles…we have forgotten what good safeties look like. This kid isn’t delpit or Laron or Chad Jones…but he is damn good, and he is coming to the SEC to take that next step and prove he is an elite safety and high draft pick. Love kids who take a chance on themselves (even though it is much easier to do when you are getting a bag)

He is a safety, so he better play the run.
I like the guy's tape and hope we get him. I am a little surprised we are out bidding Miami. Shows how bad we want another safety. Hope we sign him, but will be forced to overpay. Is what it is.
