2018 was a disater class on signing day. The melts were absolutely absurd and end of times. You can see how it aged back then. I apologize I got the year wrong.

Yes it will.

LSU can suck at football and life will be ok. Not that I think we will nor do I want that, but it's just a game. I love talking about it and following it too, but it's a game and recruiting is about high school kids.

Some of you people need perspective. Melting about recruiting kids for days on end on the internet is not healthy

We also lost to Troy that year.
It was an extremely top heavy class and at the time didn't have a QB. Obviously enter Joe Burrow.

That class had some glaring holes that we saw manifest themselves in the past couple of years as well.

That's the class that we're seniors this past year and juniors in 2020. Maybe the alarms were warranted.

Losing Surtain that year was huge and we had huge holes at corner. Look at our roster right now.

Remember when LSU fans melted because Hootie Jones went to Bama and LSU had to settle for a guy named Jamal Adams?

After Les got fired O landed K'lavon Chaisson and Jacob Phillips. Everyone was a little butthurt by Marvin Wilson and Dylan Moses but you're making up stories.

Critique Orgeron all you want but anyone who questions his recruiting ability either isn't paying attention or is being dishonest purposefully.

He missed on 5 of the top 10 LA kids that year then signed the worst ranked class at LSU in 18 years the next

O was a star chaser and poor evaluator
His avg class while here was 7th - the same as Miles
He also couldn't close on elite oos DL to save his life

Lol that's not how that recruitment went at all. Hootie committing had everyone pissed off because of Cam Robinson.

LSU got serious with Jamal Adams after that, they thought Jamal was a lock to Florida because of Joker Phillips.

Hootie reopened his commitment and everyone on this board wanted them to stay on Jamal.

Y'all keep making shite up, I don't understand the logic. Also it's cute how you act like Jamal was a scrub. Dude was ranked higher than Hootie and a top 50 player in the country.

Yeah he had to supplement with guys like Joe Burrow, Cole Tracey and he hit on some low guys like Sahdiq Charles and Justin Jefferson.

He also won the national title in his 3rd year. So if we're going to start setting similar standards are we only going to do it when it's convenient or across the board?

No a WR will not be the most important player in any class unless he is Randy Moss clone. DL or OL or QB that is the positions we struggle to keep up with the big dogs.

2 guys in 5 classes for the supposed DL guru isn't good
Our DL didn't get fixed until LA started producing some studs

So why are freaking out about LSU's class right now if we have to wait and see if transfers and lower rated players turn out good?

Like I said. O's avg class was 7th - same as Miles -so he's an above avg recruiter but not what people think
