Princeton does not award scholarships so that will be a very expensive education (but profitable education at the same time).

a free education from Duke or Stanford is a far great value.

Ivy League schools may not give athletic scholarships, but I doubt that kid is going to pay his own way. They give financial aid and other such inducements. It's just not "athletic scholarship".

Thats true, hell he could also get some academic scholarships. Still a Stanford degree carries pretty much the same weight as Princeton and the weather in Palo Alto is a hell of a lot better than NJ

Pretty sure USM being in CUSA is an FCS school but im not positive to be honest.

Umm no. Conference USA teams participate in bowl games. Therefore, it is an FBS school.

I believe that there was Major College & Small College when Bradshaw played. Tech was in the Small College division.

Recruiting services and rankings really didn't start until the late 70's, so there weren't "5 *'s" then like now. It was a different world, hell the SEC wasn't integrated then and HBC were routinely cranking out first rounder players.

Ivy league schools do find players grants and wavers to help those who need financial help, and the way I understood it was it was based on need. So some guys can get very valuable full rides

Several schools offer free tuition based on need.

If you're accepted and can't afford it, it's free
