Assuming we get Harold Joiner, anyone think they may try and convert him to WR?

His speed doesn't match his size. He's 6' 3" - 6' 4" and supposedly runs a 4.3 - 4.4. At 220 lbs that is moving ! I could see him being a solid WR based on his size and speed.

I wouldn't mind seeing him play either position.

Lets get him on campus first, then see where things shake out btw him and Curry and Provens.

I think he'll be a very good RB. He will need a little coaching up but he's like a created player on Madden.

As much as I hate to say it, hes like a Derrick Henry. Just weighs less and is faster. At least it looks that way from his tapes.

Preface. This is not trying to knock Joiner in any way.

He looks like a D. Henry Clone, but in my opinion, he runs soft in his highlights a lot of the time. He also gets tracked down a couple of times from behind.

I'd bet my mortgage he is closer to 4.6-4.7 range 40. Not that it matter, but it sure isn't 4.3-4.4

Imho, we desperately need him at RB. He's also great at catching the ball out of the backfield. I think we'll have plenty of talent at the WR position to work with.

I only said it because Derrick played for BAMA and BAMA is the devil. Besides that he was a monster.... in college.

Im not really sure where all of yall are getting that i was suggesting we convert him to wide out. I was asking if they would try to due to the Jacoby Stevens buffoonery.

If I had a choice he would stay at RB. Learn how to read people.

I would think if anything, he would be converted to an OLB if he didn't shake out at RB. You can find other WR's. Put that size and speed on the defense

If he turns out to be a "Derrick Henry" on the field, I DEFINITELY want Joiner suited up in LSU colors!

Google ... where else ? Its on the internet, so its true.

"Harold Joiner's 40 time is a bit up in the air.

Last summer, he ran a 4.34 at Alabama's football camp. This year, he ran a 4.76 at the Nike Football's The Opening. Either way, Joiner is fast for a 6-foot-4, 220-pound player."

we desperately need RB's
I think it is allowed to keep a player at running back even if he is fast
