Put me on record by saying Gunnell is the highest priority in this class. Every single ounce of effort has to be made to get this kid. This is a weak QB class already and he is the best PP in the class with a heavy interest in LSU.
Then get the kid from Warren Easton. He is a stud that can be developed. He has the tools.

I would love to get this guy. This guy reminds me of a more athletic Peyton Manning. He’s got the arm, accuracy and throws a very catchable ball. No DT but can maneuver well enough for a few first downs. He could rip his fame wide open at LSU.

I was just thinking this earlier. I for one hope O wins big time! Because I love LSU and want them to win but also so that I can sit back and watch all the people that bashed him live in misery. Recruiting QBs is all about relationships and it’s nice to see O and E get out there and have solid relationships with quality QBs. We’re gonna miss on a lot of them and that’s the name of the game but we’re gonna get some of them too!

I also hope he succeeds. I absolutely do not believe he is capable of doing so. Whatever helps you sleep at night, though.

Nice development! He took his time making the decision to. Seems like a kid that won't be flipping much. He voiced his opinion early when they went in another direction and gave them plenty of time to explain. Looks like he will be at LSU!
