Good point. Miles is indeed like a child at an easter egg hunt with an empty basket...

Empty basket? I thought I saw a bunch of 5 star and 4 star eggs in that basket?

I thought BAMA would be tired of NCAA investigations by now.

they're going insane on BOL, saying Jindal threatened to close down a mill in Bastrop if RR didnt sign. heres another good one:

quote:

"He said the governor’s attorney, Jimmy Faircloth, did make a sales pitch of sorts. Teepell said Faircloth pointed out that living in Louisiana would allow Randle to take his laundry home for washing. "

THIS IS CODE. Figure it out. The henchman for the governor made a "sales pitch" (AKA offer). "laundry" commonly referred to as CASH. "Home for washing" means this affects more than just you BOY. Your whole family can be positively or negatively impacted in a cash flow sort of way.

Wow! He said that? TNT must be running a Miami Vice marathon in Alabama. I'm sure he is playing Tubbs character.

this writer - MICHELLE MILLHOLLON - seems to be in pursuit of pulitzer...

the note regarding a job is not at all relevant but she includes it in the story

she is well aware of its implications

They should be calling for an investigation of what happened to them in the Sugar Bowl.

Dunaway and Brown radio is making a big deal over this stupid trip, too. They have a link on their webpage that actually says:

LOUISIANA GOVERNMENT RECRUITS RANDLE!

They are just tic off, because they did not know what Randle wants to be after he is out of Pro Football. I guess Coach Satan don't ask their recruits what they want to be.

I just can't stand them talking about how "crooked" this looks. Saying things like: "Yeah, how many $100 handshakes did he get at the state Capitol"?

GEEZ! They are the ones that got the "death blow" from the NCAA! I told them that just because their storied history was built on cheating and slithering through loop holes, doesn't mean that they should look at other schools through all their "violator's goggles"!

Apparently, they've turned us in.

I e-mailed the article and link to the NCAA, we'll see if they have any response. I didn't see an e-mail for the SEC Compliance Director or I would have e-mailed it to him as well.

they think everyone else cheats because they do. they figure its the only way. its always their first instinct, so they assume everyone else does it too.

Best part of all, and the true sign that this is a dyed in the wool Gump is this: "We'll see if they have any response". Like the NCAA is going to sit down and write his gump-arse a long thank you email, and explain all the recourse they are planning to take on this big, important issue he's brought to their attention!!
