the end is near, that light you see at the end of the tunnel is the Curly Hallman era.

Trey posted it on the Bama RB
Hope Mills (N.C.) South View defensive tackle Greg Gilmore was one of the top class of 2013 prospects to participate in Alabama’s linemen camp over the weekend. The camp gave the 6-foot-4, 273-pounder an opportunity to work one-on-one with defensive line coach/area recruiter Chris Rumph as well as head coach Nick Saban.
“I got there Friday and chilled with Coach Rumph for a little bit. This was my second time at Alabama- I came for the LSU game. I think the difference this time around was the personal time with Coach Saban and Coach Rumph. They really taught me a lot. I’m a better player today because of Coach Saban,” said Gilmore.
“I got so much knowledge from Coach Saban, Coach Rumph, and the rest of the coaching staff. They were helping me out without me even asking. I was on sponge-mode in the one-on-ones, because I didn’t do anything that I’ve done before. I had some fun, honestly.”
Gilmore cited his time with Saban as one of the highlights of his time in Tuscaloosa.
“I met with Coach Saban after the first session and then during the one-on-one’s he was pretty much coaching me the whole time. They’ll recruit you different than anybody else- they’ll tell you what you need to work on and they’re going to come after you. I think that they loved me out there and I loved them.”
The four-star prospect has a top three of LSU, Florida, and Alabama with the Tigers remaining on top.
“It’s LSU, Florida, and Alabama. I think LSU has a little bit of separation, because the relationship I have with the coaches is so strong. The whole Baton Rouge community and my Tiger Nation fans, they love me and that’s what puts LSU over the hump. When it comes to facilities, coaching, preparing you for the NFL, and winning national championships, I think all three of those teams have it all. I think the relationship I have with Brick (Haley) and Coach (John) Chavis is strong right now.”
While Gilmore admits he’s ready to get the process behind him, he hopes to make a few more trips with members of his inner circle before coming to a decision.
“It’s going to be a hard decision, I’ll just say that. I need to get my dad down to Alabama, my mom down to LSU, and my dad down to Florida. They’ve all been by themselves when we went before, but I need to switch it up and see how they like each one. I can make my decision off that.
“I’m not going to visit any new schools. I’m going to take my time and make my decision off these three, maybe four schools with Clemson. Honestly, I do want to get it out of the way, but it’s hard. I want to make an informed decision and my mom wants to get down to LSU, but it’s such a long drive. I need to get my mom, my dad, and my coach all together and get their help on this decision.”
Gilmore has a grade of 94 from 247Sports and is ranked as the no. 8 defensive tackle and no. 107 prospect in the nation, regardless of position
