Don't kid yourself. Speedy and Willis were never coming to LSU. I highly doubt Robinson was as well, but if we would've offered Sims, maybe we could've swayed him.

We didn't lose the first two though. They were never ours.

Easily an A. Only reason not A+ is because of no OT, but we picked up a committment for a 2015 one that could be the #1 OT next year. Balances out.

A- only bc we really really really needed more OL particularly OT.

This. Big Cam would have made this class an A+

QB: A+ - We got one of the best available in the country.
RB: A - LF is good enough that he carries this weighting. Losing Sione sucks though.
WR: A+ - Dupre and Quinn are as good as you could hope for and then Upchurch and Chark are no slouches.
TE: A+ - Washington is clearly one of the most dynamic TEs in the country. Now we just have to use him.
OT: F - did not land one.
OG: A- - Brumfield should be very good.
C: N/A - did not land, but didn't really need one for this class.
DE: B+ - landed Teuhema and Godchaux; not a huge area of need but potential is there.
DT: B+ - Valentine was a huge get, LMFAO is a decent prospect.
LB: B+ - CG is a huge pickup and much needed; DA is an average prospect.
CB: B - Gage looks to be a capable athlete but he is totally untested.
S: A+ - terrific haul
PK/P: A - I'll trust the coaches on this one. No idea.

Overall: A

A- would've been A+ if we had an OT

If we had landed a combination of Willis, Noil, Brown, Cam then it would have put us away over the top.

LF is the #1 recruit in the nation and many say they havent seen a RB like him since AP. If there was anything higher than an A+...they would get that grading.

You also realize we signed 2 of the top 10 recruits from Texas, the top recruit from Illinois and Oklahoma, and top 5 recruits from MS and FL right?

I'm sure you forgot about those...

This is a nice theory but this always happens with recruiting, guys will not make this type of impact until they are sophomores at best an dprobably until they are juniors. LF yes will step in and be that good but the DL will not be as good and the WR will not either, just naturally true.

Yes, he fills the need tremendously. Agree that he is the best RB recruit since AP.

However, recruiting is also about the depth you create. I'm not very high on Williams as the #2 RB in this class.

LF7 will play and probably start most of the year.

Valentine and LMFAO will probably not see the field or play as part of the deep rotation.

Quinn will play and will Dupre.

Adams may be the starting FS to begin the year.

Harris shouldn't have to play.

We sign the 2nd best recruiting class in the entire country, including the top player overall, and still bet a B?

I look at this totally different from you
The 3- 5 star players from our state wanted to get away and I believe all three for different reasons

I could speculate all day but leaving had nothing to do with our school, our coaching staff and their work ethic.

We finished strong
