We aren’t in the lead for Foster. FSU is.

Washington will end up at LSU

Washington or Beal or williams

in home with Goodrich later this week. Should find out than where he stands. So key will be if Beal gets a official scheduled the last weekend. If he does, than we are thinking we lost out on someone.

I think Ardarius is who we should go after if we fail on Goodrich and Foster. Just my opinion, though.

Lsu has plenty of room for goodrich.. What kinda weed you smoking? Have 21 recruits signed their papers, the last 4 will be goodrich, kelvin joseph, jamarr chase and surtain. That's the best available. They have high interests in Lsu. That foster kid, don't know bout him, he seem to have low interests, got his mind elsewhere. Can that dude even hit a moving target? Definitely need some q b's for 2019 season and walk ons as well

Isn't Washington a commit?
Posted on 1/29/18 at 11:52 am to the LSUSaint
No, I meant lesser talent that is taking up a spot he would accept. He's more valuable than some we have committed at other less important spots
Do you realize how stupid this statement is. The young men who have already signed their letter of intent can't be processed. It is a done deal. We will end up with 3 elite players. What if the coaches had waited on these guys and they didn't get the ones we have? And then we don't get them.

I like Goodrich and want him in the class. I'm just curious who you would cut from our current commits.
Technically, we only have 2 commits right now. Kelvin Joseph & ArDarius Washington.
The other 21 guys have already signed with LSU & are a done deal.

Yeah, I know. I was just wondering from a theoretical stand point. I don't see anyone currently signed that I would say isn't potentially valuable. I guess we are heaviest at WR so you could say one of the 4star WRs between Jones and Jenkins but they are quality recruits. You keep all the big boys because you can never have too many OL/DL. DE/OLBs? Nope. Need to keep churning the roster with them as well. RB? We are lighter there than CB.
As for the commits, Joseph is a baller and I have no doubt will at least be a ST ace and likely in some D packages before he becomes an elite starter. Washington has been a potential TCU switch depending on how we close on CBs per what I've read.

Theoretically speaking, I would say either Jones or Jenkins at WR. Not b/c they lack talent, but we have a bunch of young WR talent already on the roster. Getting both Terrace Marshall & JaMarr Chase would make that an easy decision as well.
In years past...I'd probably say Tae Provens, but we're pretty thin at RB.

Still on 247 the CB's favor LSU by 62%, yes I am sure he had a great visit to Clemson but give our boys "Raymond, Aranda and O" a little credit. They still have time to talk to him about LSU and counter whatever Clemson is signing. Does that mean he won't go to Clemson? No, but damn the sky isn't falling yet let see what happens I have faith in Corey!

He's gone dude. I don't see anyone in this thread acting like the sky is falling though.

Yes, but was likely getting forced out if we got Foster or Goodrich.

quote:Agreed. Such decisions should be based off of need/depth primarily (which would 'bake in the cake' the skills/talent of past recruits), not off of rankings/talent alone.

We getting our arse kicked by Clemson and FSU and the big names lately.

Maybe just me but the TE Scheffer or whatever. He's an h back basically and when's the last pass catching TE we've had made a major impact? We have like 6 of them now with Moss. Not needed.
There are others at wr and on the DL that could be substituted. I don't think people truly understand how bad we are with depth at CB. 1 injury and we are in trouble

I read Joseph runs a 4.3 40. He could play corner.

What visits did he cancel?
Edit: Just Arkansas? I'm not sweating it.
